With the Missouri sports betting launch less than two weeks away on Dec. 1, sportsbooks are eager to attract new customers with promotional offers. Starting Nov. 17, sportsbooks can allow users to open new accounts and make deposits.
But signing up, bettors should know there are plenty of promotions available. In most cases, these offers include a deposit match and/or a “no sweat” first bet, in which the sportsbook gives you a bonus bet equal to your loss on the first wager, up to a set limit.

Bettors who prefer a big-name sportsbook may find FanDuel a good fit. It is one of the most recognizable brands in the industry. In Missouri, FanDuel is offering three promotions for new users:
- $100 in bonus bets when you open an account
- An additional $300 when you place your first $5 bet after FanDuel goes live
- A 100% deposit match of up to $100 on first-time deposits
Each offer has its own terms and conditions, so it’s important to review them when signing up. Generally, you must opt in to receive the bonuses.
Missouri sports betting: Launch date, platforms, and rules
Missouri voters narrowly approved sports betting in 2024. Over the past year, the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) has worked behind the scenes to prepare sportsbook operators for the Dec. 1 launch.
When sports betting goes live, MGC records indicate there will be at least seven mobile sports betting platforms in addition to FanDuel:
- bet365
- BetMGM
- Caesars Sportsbook
- Circa Sports
- DraftKings
- Fanatics Sportsbook
- FanDuel
- Penn Sports Interactive
Underdog, the popular daily fantasy platform, applied for a Missouri operator license but is not listed by the MGC as a recipient of the temporary license required to launch by Dec. 1. Another sports betting brand, Kambi, earned a temporary supplier license, though its role in the upcoming launch is unclear.
