FanDuel Casino and Mohegan Sun Online Casino have launched Love Island: Unlocked, a new online slot inspired by the hit reality series Love Island USA. Developed by White Hat Studios in partnership with FanDuel and ITV Studios, the game debuted just ahead of the premiere of Love Island USA Season 8 and is now available across several regulated North American markets.
The launch marks the second installment in FanDuel’s multi-game collaboration with the Love Island franchise and represents another step in the growing convergence of entertainment and online gaming.
Casino game launch timed with Love Island USA Season 8
Inspired by Love Island USA Season 8, the game transports players to the tropical backdrop of Fiji, where the latest season is set. The real-money online slot is designed to capture the show’s signature mix of romance, competition and unexpected twists, incorporating familiar themes, characters and moments from the series.
The launch coincides with one of the summer’s most anticipated reality TV returns, giving fans a new way to engage with the franchise while following the latest developments from the villa.
Feature-rich online slot gameplay inspired by the villa
Love Island: Unlocked introduces several gameplay features designed to mirror the show’s progression and drama.
Among the headline additions is the new Select-A-Character feature, which allows players to choose their favorite islander before starting gameplay. The game also includes an Unlock Trail system that gradually reveals new characters, content and gameplay experiences as players progress.
Additional themed modifiers are inspired by some of the franchise’s most recognizable moments, including:
- Bombshell in the Villa, which adds bonus symbols to the reels.
- Dumping Night, which refreshes the reels to create new winning opportunities.
- I’ve Got a Text, inspired by one of the show’s most iconic catchphrases.
- Casa Amor Super Spin, based on the fan-favorite relationship test featured in the series.
Players can also trigger Hideaway Bonus Spins with multipliers of up to 10x, unlock collect features and compete for four Cashpot jackpot prizes.

Representatives from ITV Studios’ Zoo 55 division also praised the collaboration, highlighting the game’s extensive feature set and White Hat Studios’ contribution to the project.
Fiji luxury getaway promotion and a $500,00 prize pool
To celebrate the launch, FanDuel is introducing the Ultimate Island Giveaway, which gives eligible players a chance to win a luxury trip for two to Fiji. Additional promotional offerings include box drops and access to a prize pool totaling $500,000.
Love Island: Unlocked is available through FanDuel Casino in Connecticut, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as in Ontario, Canada.
The game is also available through Mohegan Sun Online Casino in Connecticut, where it has launched as a permanent offering on both desktop and mobile platforms. Access is restricted to players age 21 and older in accordance with Connecticut gaming regulations.
