New Hampshire sports betting revenue dropped 6.3% in November, ending a hot streak in which revenue jumped 84.8% and 42.1% in September and October, respectively.
Though the revenue decline put the brakes on recent robust growth, there were several positives to November’s numbers, including the fact that revenue eclipsed $8 million for only the fourth time since sports betting went live in late 2019.
A look at New Hampshire’s November sports betting revenue
Online and in-person sports betting are legal in New Hampshire and, unlike most states, there is only one operator: DraftKings.
The state’s monthly revenue reports include itemized totals for mobile and retail (brick-and-mortar) sports betting. Here’s what those numbers looked like in November:
- Online sports betting: $6.6 million
- Retail sports betting: $1.6 million
Online sports betting revenue was down around $1.8 million compared to New Hampshire’s October sports wagering revenue, year-on-year, combined mobile and retail handles suffered a significant drop. The handles fell from $93.1 million in November 2022 to $78.5 million this past month.
