The latest monthly online casino report from Complete iGaming reveals that all states posted higher revenue in June.

The report analyzes and compiles revenue from all seven states where online casinos are currently legal.

Here’s a breakdown of the numbers and what they mean:

Performance by state

In total, the states combined generated $925.3 million in June revenue, with Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania driving the numbers. Revenue was 18% higher than June 2025’s $770.1 million.

Here’s a state-by-state, year-over-year comparison:

  • Michigan: $301.2 million in June 2026 – $240.6 million in June 2025 (+22%)
  • New Jersey: $271 million – $230.7 million (+16%)
  • Pennsylvania: $242.5 million – $212.6 million (+13%)
  • Connecticut: $53.1 million – $46.3 million (+14%)
  • West Virginia: $38.3 million – $27 million (+35%)
  • Delaware: $12.6 million – $8 million (+45%)
  • Rhode Island: $6.6 million – $4.9 million (+30%)

The online casino market came close to reaching the $1 billion monthly revenue mark again in June with $925.3 million. Online casinos posted $938.5 million in April.

The continued growth of the US online casino market demonstrates that it has become a recurring, sizeable revenue line for operators as well as state budgets.

Big 3 do the heavy lifting

Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania are the engine behind the national market’s growth. With a total of more than $814 million, the three states accounted for about 88% of the haul in June.

Michigan online casinos are in a league of their own, with monthly revenue surpassing $300 million for the fourth month in a row. The state has experienced record-setting growth over the past year.

New Jersey online casinos, the longest-running market, have been consistently outperforming the brick-and-mortar casinos in Atlantic City, which posted $257.3 million in June.

Pennsylvania online casinos, with their high tax, have enjoyed consistent growth since December 2024, when the market set the previous record of $223.7 million

Why the higher baseline?

The online casino industry’s baseline is higher because of a sequence of record-high and near-record months. It started at the end of 2024, with a total December revenue of $778.6 million compared to $582.2 million in December 2023. Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware all set records that month.

In 2025, January revenue reached $762.2 million, while February reported $711 million despite the month being shorter and coming after a strong January. In July 2025, revenues reached $817.6 million, a considerable growth from $623.4 million in July 2024.

Interestingly, the national online casino market performed slightly better in April:

  • Michigan: $303.4 million
  • New Jersey: $263.1 million
  • Pennsylvania: $245.8 million
  • Connecticut: $67.5 million
  • West Virginia: $38.3 million
  • Delaware: $14.1 million
  • Rhode Island: $6.3 million

Nevertheless, June’s total was considerably higher than the same period in the previous year, which shows a market that is maturing.

Smaller states demonstrate importance of market design

Connecticut, West Virginia, Delaware, and Rhode Island posted combined revenue of $110.6 million in June. While the figure is modest compared to a state like Michigan, these states are becoming increasingly important indicators of policy and platform performance.

Moreover, their operating structures and growth rates demonstrate how different models can produce material revenue despite smaller populations.

Connecticut has a two-operator structure comprising of DraftKings Casino and FanDuel Casino, which are licensed under local tribal casinos. The two platforms generated $53.1 million in June, up from $46.3 million last year. The market performed even better in April, posting $67.5 million, and set a record of $74 million in March.

These figures demonstrate that dominant national operators tied to local tribal casinos can still scale in a limited-license market.

West Virginia online casinos, with a broader lineup of operators, are performing relatively well despite a small population. June revenue reached $38.3 million compared to $27 million a year earlier. The market is growing quickly. Revenue increased by 43% between 2024 and 2025, with the market posting its then second-highest monthly record of $24.9 million in February. It has continued growing since then.

For Delaware, January 2025 was considered the first month of accurate year-over-year comparisons. Its trajectory demonstrates the impact of a platform change, as Rush Street Interactive replaced 888 in 2024. The state posted revenues of $12.6 million in June, with slots generating $9.4 million and table games bringing in $3.1 million. The improvement demonstrates how quickly a small, monopoly-style market can quickly rise with a more efficient platform.
