OpenBet has facilitated the launch of Sports Illustrated‘s first retail sportsbook in partnership with 888.
The US sportsbook is powered by OpenBet’s retail solutions and is situated within Michigan’s Island Resort & Casino in Harris.
In an OpenBet news release, Howard Mittman, US President at 888holdings, commented:

Sports Illustrated’s new retail sportsbook created through collaboration
Through its parent company, Authentic Brands Group, Sports Illustrated teamed up with 888 in 2021 to create a new retail sportsbook.
After launching the digital sportsbook, OpenBet was selected as the partner to support the operator’s journey into the retail space.
The operator’s sportsbook, which will be within the Hannahville Indian Community’s casino in Michigan, features:

- Self-service kiosks
