I played with and without the extra bonus chance turned on in demo mode, and didn’t notice much difference. I advanced to the bonus round twice with it turned on and twice when it was off. How much you want to stake is up to you. Betting almost $20 a spin in trial mode, I was consistently up $200 thanks to big wins in the bonus round. At most, it took me about 40 spins to get to the bonus round. I also didn’t see much difference in my outcome whether I was betting a dollar a spin or $20 a spin.
Bonus features of the Survivor slot
My biggest win in demo mode was over $600. I earned all three bonus reels twice out of my four demo-mode plays. You win the jackpot listed when you get a corresponding jackpot symbol, or you fill out all nine spots. Once I had eight spots filled in two of the three bonus reels, but didn’t fill in all the way.

After some success in demo mode, I decided to put some real money in and give Survivor another go. On my fourth spin, I advanced to the bonus round, with only one of the jackpot reels active (Outwit).
My 3x multiplier arrived early in my free spins, so there wasn’t much to gain, but I did end up winning two times my stake overall. Survivor is a fun, fast-paced game with an easy-to-understand layout.
It’s also nice to survive without having to get all sandy and eaten by bugs. I vote this game a winner.
