Aristocrat Gaming is on a hot streak.

The Australia-based company opened a large gaming lounge at West Virginia’s Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. The company said in a statement that the Aristocrat-branded lounge is the largest of its kind in the West Virginia-Ohio-Kentucky region, and is another development for a company that’s made huge strides in entering the US market over the past year.

Tom O’Brien, Aristocrat’s president of Americas and EMEA, said the gaming lounge at Wheeling Island was a total team effort. O’Brien commented in a G3 Newswire post:

“Our Aristocrat Gaming team is thrilled for the opening of the first-of-its-kind Aristocrat Gaming Lounge at Wheeling Island. This was truly a collaborative effort and an incredible opportunity for us to bring together so many of our fan-favorite titles to a centralized area, where players can go to have fun and a chance to win big.”

The lounge’s opening included a pair of $150 hot-seat prizes every hour this past weekend, along with t-shirt giveaways. Additionally, the first 100 players who used their loyalty cards in the Aristocrat room earned a $50 play credit.

Slots lounge features Aristocrat’s most popular titles

The Aristocrat Gaming Lounge at Wheeling Island is devoted exclusively to more than 100 Aristocrat slot titles. Denominations range from 1 cent to $5. Some of the titles available to play at the lounge include:

  • Dragon Link
  • Lightning Link
  • Buffalo Chief
  • Buffalo Gold Collection
  • Buffalo Gold Revolution
  • Buffalo Grand
  • Wild Wild Buffalo
  • 5 Dragons

The gaming area includes a progressive jackpot that players can win with a $1 bet. The jackpot starts and $25,000 and builds from there.

“Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack and Aristocrat Gaming set out to create a one-of-a-kind gaming experience for our regional market,” Wheeling Island President Kim Florence said in the G3 Newswire post.

“The Aristocrat Gaming Lounge transformed an ordinary room into a premium room with highly sought-after slot game titles, a comfortable atmosphere and themed decor. We look forward to welcoming guests from all over to enjoy the space.”

Aristocrat Gaming Lounge concept part of the company’s US growth

In December, Aristocrat launched a gaming lounge at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee in Florida. The lounge is smaller than its West Virginia counterpart, and it includes just two tiles: Lightning Link and Dragon Link. Like the Wheeling Island lounge, the Seminole Immokalee location was the first of its kind in the state.

And, in April 2022, Beau Rivage Resort & Casino opened an Aristocrat lounge featuring the company’s Buffalo-themed titles such as Buffalo Chief and Buffalo Gold.

In addition to its brick-and-mortar expansion in the US, Aristocrat has signed multiple deals over the past few months to offer its titles in multiple states’ online casinos. Earlier this month, Aristocrat’s online casino brand Anaxi inked a deal with Penn Interactive to offer games in New Jersey and other markets where Penn operates.

Additionally, Aristocrat’s Anaxi has signed deals with Caesars Casino and BetMGM over the past four months.
