BetMGM And NetGaming Partner To Deliver New Jersey Online Casino Content

BetMGM and NetGaming are expanding their deal to grow in US. New Jersey online casino players will be next to have new titles available

BetMGM has announced a second state in which it will deliver NetGaming online casino content. A casino game developer, NetGaming slots will now be available to New Jersey online casino players through BetMGM Casino.

Additional titles will soon roll out in other US online casino states, including Pennsylvania and West Virginia, where BetMGM Casino operates. The partnership first launched its content in Michigan a year ago.

Oliver Bartlett, vice president of gaming product & content for BetMGM, told PlayUSA:

“BetMGM is delighted to continue our exclusive partnership with NetGaming in the United States. This is a key part of our strategy to bring the broadest and best selection of content for our customers.”

BetMGM online casino in Michigan first to offer NetGaming slots

NetGaming has an extensive portfolio of games, with some of the most popular titles available at launch, including:

  • 3 Wild Jokers
  • Wicked Wins – Fortune Pick
  • Zeus’s Thunderbolt 5000

Pallavi Deshmukh, CEO of NetGaming, said in a news release:

We are incredibly excited to launch our games in New Jersey in partnership with BetMGM.

“This collaboration represents a strategic step in our expansion strategy, allowing us to reach new players and provide them with the high-quality gaming experiences that we are known for. We look forward to a successful partnership with BetMGM and are committed to contributing to the growth of the iGaming market in New Jersey.”

BetMGM has strived to offer players more online casino content. NetGaming’s distinctive themes and gameplay will add to BetMGM’s online casino, home to more than 1,500 titles.

The joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain has also built the country’s largest state-by-state exclusive in-house progressive jackpot network. In 2022, it awarded over $100 million in progressive jackpots. During the first half of 2024, BetMGM paid a jackpot of more than $5 million in New Jersey.

BetMGM’s net revenue for the first half of 2024 was $1 billion, a 6% annual increase. 

The gambling giant said net revenue rose 9% during Q2 2024 compared to last year’s period. BetMGM’s second-quarter earnings were also 3% higher than the first quarter of this year. 

During the July 31 earnings call reflecting Q2 2024, MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM) also emphasized BetMGM posted a loss of $38 million, which was larger than Q2 2023’s $22 million.

The company also revealed the average number of active online casino players rose by 18% compared to the first half of last year. The number of active players during Q2 2024 also grew 9% compared to Q1 2024.  

The company holds nearly 22% share of the online casino market in the US and Ontario.

BetMGM also said it wants to focus on its own branded games.
