You don’t have to spend money to have fun. That’s the message at the core of gaming developer Blazesoft’s newest social casino launch, Zula Casino.

The company announced the new online casino, which doesn’t require cash to play, 18 months after launching its first social casino in the US and ahead of a social sportsbook launch.

The company’s first online social casino, Fortune Coins Casino, has more than three million registered players in the United States and Canada.

Zula Casino offers a wide range of online games

Zula is a free-to-play online casino that features more than 150 different slots, tables, and fish games. Skills & Slots Casino provides an example of a separate platform that has also effectively capitalized on the rising popularity of fish games. The online slot games are split up into three types: classic, tumble, hold and win.

Players amass Gold Coins through daily refills and promotions. They use the Gold Coins to play games. If they run out before their daily refill, they can use real money to purchase more virtual coins.

Certain Gold Coin purchases give users Sweeps Coins, which can be redeemed for real money and prizes.

Just like a cash casino, Zula has a loyalty program for its players. The program has seven different tiers ranging from bronze to Diamond I, II, and III.

The more Gold Coins a player purchases, the higher the tier they achieve. The highest level, Diamond III, entitles players to exclusive offers, monthly rakeback, birthday bonuses, and other perks.

Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives Yuliy German said in a Blazesoft press release:

“Zula Casino’s launch marks a significant milestone in Blazesoft’s journey to redefine the gaming experience. In keeping with our unwavering commitment to provide unparalleled entertainment, we’re excited to offer players a truly engaging and enjoyable platform that uniquely blends social gaming with sweepstakes elements.”

Blazesoft looks ahead to social sportsbook, Sportzino

While social casinos aren’t anything new, Blazesoft’s plans to open a social sportsbook are. The company claims that Sportzino, the name of its forthcoming no-money sports betting platform, is the “first of its kind.”

According to Blazesoft’s press release about Zula and Sportzino, the new sportsbook will offer:

  • Fake-money bets on the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, tennis, soccer, Formula 1, and possibly other leagues
  • All the usual betting types, including single-game, parlays, system, and same-game picks

Blazesoft said it anticipates that Sportzino will launch by the end of the year. CEO Mickey Blayvas said that the company’s trio of social enterprises is part of the company’s goal to be the top operator in the social gaming space.

“Blazesoft continues to be a leader in the online entertainment arena in North America; and Fortune Coins, Zula Casino, and Sportzino each reflect our ultimate ambition to being the number one player in the market,” Blayvas said.

“With our introduction to the sports market in 2024, we anticipate Blazesoft’s growth trajectory will skyrocket as we plan for substantial market expansion.”
