Cleopatra Makes Her Entrance On Caesars Palace Online Casino

One of history’s most important and powerful women has taken her rightful place in yet another arena. Caesars Palace online casino felt incomplete without an intentional tribute to Cleopatra, but that is no longer the case.

On Tuesday, International Game Technology (IGT) announced it created a Cleopatra-themed game specifically for Caesars Palace’s app available for players in four US states. Caesars Palace accordingly and appropriately labeled the game its launch title in those markets, demonstrating how much power the Egyptian goddess-queen still retains centuries after her death.

Caesars Palace, IGT introduce new slot game

Caesars Palace launched in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia less than a week ago. It’s a dedicated real-money online casino app, separate from Caesars Sportsbook and other Caesars Digital brands like Tropicana Casino and WSOP.com in those places.

Caesars Digital is touting that launch even more by building on its existing Cleopatra game theme with a new IGT title, Caesars Cleopatra. The addition to Caesars Palace slots library features 20 paylines and a bonus feature.

The Cleopatra! Bonus awards players an opportunity to apply a 3X multiplier to their winnings. Furthermore, players who land five Cleopatra symbols on a single payline pays out 10,000X their wager within the bonus feature as well.

For IGT, this game represents a proliferation of its exclusive deal with Caesars Digital to create bespoke content for its brands. Exclusive or bespoke content is an important way for those brands to set themselves apart in competitive markets that mainly consist of similar products.

Bespoke content can set online casino apps apart

At their most basic levels, most online casino apps are quite similar. There are hundreds of slot titles and virtual table games to choose from produced by the same content studios. Many of the apps offer “seats” at the same live dealer games, too.

While rewards programs have become standard, Caesars can somewhat claim a level of uniqueness for its Caesars Rewards offering. That’s because it affords players some benefits at Caesars properties around the globe like comped hotel stays.

Even that isn’t completely unique to Caesars, though. For example, BetMGM and Rush Street Interactive offer similar rewards experiences at MGM Resorts and Rivers casinos, respectively. Exclusive online casino content is a way to truly differentiate the apps.

That’s provided the games are actually attractive to players, though. In a Tuesday news release, Caesars Digital head of iGaming Matt Sunderland expressed that “this bespoke game blends familiar slot gameplay and graphics with new bonus features and visuals to create a compelling experience that we’re sure our players will enjoy.”

Whether Sunderland’s prediction about the game is right remains to be seen. At the very least, Caesars Palace is working to differentiate itself by building on an iconic element of the existing product.
