Delaware online casinos are heating up as B2B gaming provider Evolution partnered with Rush Street Interactive to bring its popular live dealer games to BetRivers Casino.

Rush Street’s CEO Richard Schwartz expressed confidence that Delaware players will embrace the new live casino offerings. In an Evolution news release, Schwartz said: “BetRivers in Delaware is thrilled to offer players the chance to virtually play on Evolution’s world-renowned live tables.

We are confident that the live dealer online casino will be very popular, as the live dealer games offer the same level of excitement as playing in a land-based casino.

This launch reinforces BetRivers commitment to offer Delaware online players the best mix of innovative and entertaining games available.”

Key takeaways

  • Evolution expands its presence in Delaware with live dealer games, building on its existing partnership with Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI)
  • Evolution’s games are now available at all three Delaware Lottery-operated online casinos.
  • Delaware’s online casino market is experiencing significant growth, with a 216% increase in revenue year-over-year as of May 2024.

New partnership builds on previous online slots deal

This partnership builds upon an existing collaboration between Evolution and Rush Street, which began in March 2024.

Evolution previously established a presence in Delaware by offering online slots from its subsidiary studios (NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Big Time Gaming) through the BetRivers platform. Hence, this expansion into live dealer games in Delaware marks Evolution’s sixth jurisdiction in the US online casinos market.

“Delaware is our sixth US state, and this live games launch further reinforces our standing as the market leader in online gaming in the US. We are confident that Delaware’s online players at BetRivers will absolutely love the quality and extended choice.

Our live games add a new dimension of excitement to the player experience, as they bet in real-time, with real dealers, and alongside fellow online players,” Jacob Claesson, Evolution CEO for North America said.

The expanded partnership brings Evolution’s online slots and live dealer games to all three Delaware online casinos:

  • Delaware Park Casino
  • Bally’s Dover Casino Resort
  • Harrington Raceway & Casino

Players can access Evolution’s games at Delaware Park Casino and Harrington Raceway & Casino through the BetRivers Casino. Bally’s Dover Casino Resort, however, offers these games through its own standalone app.

Claesson further echoed his sentiment, highlighting the continued success of their collaboration bodes well for the future of live dealer games in Delaware: “We are delighted to partner again with Rush Street Interactive for another momentous launch in Delaware.

There has been huge anticipation around the arrival of our live online games in Delaware, particularly since our March 2024 online slots launch, as our unique and innovative live games are so well known and have proved so enormously popular in other US markets.”

Players can now experience Evolution’s live online casino games portfolio, featuring classics like:

  • Live Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Infinite Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Craps
  • Poker- Three Crad Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Delaware’s online casino market booms, but online sports betting expansion stalls

Evolution might have targeted a progressive market to display its offering, as numbers show that the state’s online casino market has been making better figures than in 2023. This is evident in Delaware’s May 2024 revenue report, which noted an increase of 216% year-over-year, resulting in $3.9 million.

Despite the positive developments in Delaware’s online casino market, a proposed expansion of online sports betting won’t be moving forward soon. House Bill 365, which aimed to introduce multiple sports betting operators to the state, failed to pass before the recent legislative session concluded.
