What can players expect from Evolution’s video poker game?
The game is an online recreation of the popular Video Poker terminal games that became famous in the 1980s.
Evolution’s latest release allows players to play up to 100 hands at once and choose from five pay tables to see which suits their skill and practice level.
First Person Video Poker, an RNG version of the game, features a “Go Live” button available for players in New Jersey and West Virginia.
According to the company’s press release, Evolution’s video poker game offers a “familiar appeal for older players” and a “fresh poker experience for new generations,” mixing nostalgia and modern gaming technology.
The game has been designed with the US online casino player in mind
In the press release, Evolution CEO for North America, Jacob Claesson said:
“Whilst our online Video Poker is already live in Europe and other regions and doing very well indeed, this game has been designed with the US market very much in mind. As such, we are expecting it to make a big impact with an online audience right across North America. Also, with the highest RTP (Return To Player) of all our Poker games, we have found that the game is incredibly effective in attracting new players.”
Claesson added: “What’s fascinating is that Video Poker was originally such a massive hit back in the day on gaming terminals. Now we’ve completely reinvigorated the game for the 21st century. Our First Person RNG version of this game faithfully brings that retro gaming experience into the modern age. And then we have our live version, which brings a live dealer and real-time gameplay to the table and adds an exciting new dimension to the fun!”
Evolution’s new games continue to launch
Apart from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Evolution has licenses in Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan and West Virginia. It’s only a matter of time before the latest game will enter additional markets.
Last year, Evolution Gaming launched the live dealer game Crazy Coin Flip in NJ and recently released it in PA. Furthermore, the software supplier company announced that Crazy Time will launch in Pennsylvania on June 4.
The launch of Evolution’s video poker is only part of the company’s ongoing expansion. It has quickly become the leading supplier of live dealer games to US online casinos.
The company has partnered with many prominent gambling operators in the US, including DraftKings Casino and Entain. Today, Evolution’s live dealer offering has more than 700 live tables and game show environments, including:
- NetEnt
- Red Tiger
- Big Time Gaming
- Nolimit City
