From a revenue perspective, Connecticut has been on a hot streak. The sportsbook has hit multiple milestones since the NFL season started in September. Handle (total amount bet) surpassed $180 million for the first time in September. At the time, it was a record.
However, that record was broken for three consecutive months after that. October hit $189.6 million, November rose to $205.7 million, and December set the still-standing record at $212.2 million.
Handle stayed above $200 million in January, then dipped to $162.8 million in February. And, this month, the state’s total handle since it launched in October 2021 should surpass $4 billion.
