FanDuel has launched MySpend, a new dashboard for users to help with responsible gambling. It gives players an overview of their spending history with the goal of assisting them with budgeting.
In a FanDuel press release, Alison Kutler, Vice President, Responsible Gaming and Community Impact at FanDuel, said this addition is their way of ensuring customers’ safety.
FanDuel believes our customers should always have a budget and plan in mind when they engage with our products, and we are thrilled to introduce My Spend to help customers track their spending and manage their play.
This innovation was born out of research that was conducted by FanDuel on its customers, which revealed that players want personalized insights into their gaming activities.
Nonetheless, this modification is coming amid the allegations of antitrust law violations against FanDuel and DraftKings.
What features should customers expect from the MySpend RG Tool?
My Spend empowers customers with a deeper understanding of their gaming expenses by tracking key metrics, such as deposits and net winnings. Hence, customers can:
- Monitor their spending patterns over various timeframes (seven days, four weeks, or three months).
- Set realistic budgets and make informed decisions about their gaming activities.
To further support responsible gaming practices, the My Spend dashboard integrates with FanDuel’s offerings of tools like:
- Setting deposit limits
- Creating wager limits
The launch is being supported by a targeted advertising campaign. The campaign’s message will encourage customers to monitor their spending and stay on top of their budgeting habits. Commercials will air in both English and Spanish across multiple media channels.

The My Spend feature is now accessible across FanDuel’s entire range of products, including

Gaming operators double down on responsible gaming initiatives
It’s no news that across the gaming industry, operators are doubling down on responsible gaming programs as well as adding up to its security measures, having experienced a couple of cyberattacks of late.
This brings us to FanDuel’s previous endeavor, where the company, ahead of the September Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM), launched a new program, “Trusted Voices: Conversations About Betting,” which will help educate adults and young people about gambling.
Companies like DraftKings aren’t left out, as the online casino operator in March introduced a new RG Tool, “My Stat Sheet,” which gives players the leverage to track and interact with their personal stats using charts to help them make data-driven decisions while playing.
The platform provides customers with a detailed overview of their activity, including time spent.

- Wagers placed
- Net wins or losses
This information can be viewed in monthly, yearly, or lifetime increments, with easy-to-use charts and filtering options.
Just like the My Spend tool, it also has deposits and withdrawals limits.
