In a move that will likely strengthen Galaxy Gaming‘s presence in the US market, the company announced it has gained distribution rights for EZ Baccarat table games in casinos, a leading baccarat brand created by The Talisman group.
In a company press release, Galaxy CEO Todd Cravens said the distribution deal points to the company’s focus on providing top-notch games to its US online casino customers:
“This agreement is another example of our commitment to delivering the best table game content to everyone, everywhere. EZ Baccarat is the world’s leading baccarat brand and we’re thrilled that it will become part of our robust catalog of games and side bets.”
Those distribution rights will go into effect on September 9. On that same day, Galaxy will get exclusive global rights to distribute the online version of EZ Baccarat.

In a deal like this, casinos that currently offer EZ Baccarat will now work with Galaxy for, among other things, service and support.
Transitions like this could lead to hiccups and confusion, but Cravens assured current EZ Baccarat customers that they have nothing to worry about.
“To every casino currently offering EZ Baccarat, we commit to a seamless transition and look forward to supporting you with our best-in-class service,” he said.
EZ Baccarat brings the game into the 21st century
Part of its popularity is because of its side bets, known as “Dragon 7” and “Panda 8.” Additionally, the game removes the 5% commission typical with traditional baccarat games.
“Twenty-five years ago, we sat down and decided that we would look for a solution to this problem,” EZ Baccarat creators Robin Powell and Francisco “TJ” Tejada noted on their website.
“Bringing together the experience and knowledge we had accumulated during all those years as baccarat dealers we went after the challenge: to bring the game of baccarat into the 21st century and make it more fun to play by getting rid of the commission.”
Game has global and US influence
EZ Baccarat is live at 830 tables in 140 casinos around the world.
In the US, the game appears at prominent casinos across the country, including Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, and all Golden Nugget casinos.
Galaxy’s online distribution rights could make it possible for the company to distribute EZ Baccarat in the following states where online casinos are legal:
- Delaware
- Michigan
- Nevada
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- West Virginia
Traditional baccarat is available in those states, too. In many cases, players can choose between baccarat which doesn’t require money to play (“social”) and real-money online baccarat games.
