Las Vegas-based Galaxy Gaming, a leading developer and distributor of casino table games and technology, has announced a licensing agreement with Konquer to provide four new online casino games in the North American market:
- Daredevil Poker
- Emperor’s Challenge Exposed
- High Card Flush
- High Hand Blackjack
Galaxy Gaming CEO Todd Cravens said Konquer will develop the four games for online release in the US and beyond, making it the first time the titles move from the casino floor to mobile and desktop platforms. Cravens said in a Galaxy Gaming press release:
“We’re delighted to see some of our most exciting titles and progressives be developed for the North American iGaming market. This is the first time Daredevil, Emperor’s Challenge Exposed, and High Card Flush will be live online, and we can’t wait to engage and delight players with this proven content.”
Partnership paves the way for more online casino revenue
The four Galaxy Gaming titles involved in the deal are already in operation at brick-and-mortar casinos. It has hired Konquer to help them get those games ready for US online casinos, and possibly the Canadian market.
Konquer will work with Galaxy to ensure the games run smoothly on mobile and desktop, and comply with online gambling rules for each of the six states in which online casinos are legal:
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Michigan
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- West Virginia
The deal should eventually boost Galaxy Gaming’s revenue, already setting records this year.
During Galaxy Gaming’s Q2 earnings call, CEO Todd Cravens said its presence in the US online and brick-and-mortar casino market helped drive record revenue, adjusted EBITDA, and cash on hand in Q2.
Konquer deal comes on the heels of two distribution deals for Galaxy Gaming
In June, Galaxy signed a deal for distribution rights of EZ Baccarat, a popular table game Galaxy will release in the US, Canada, and the UK.
And, in May, Galaxy agreed to a 10-year partnership with Evolution Group. The partnership allows Galaxy to distribute its table games through Evolution’s live dealer platforms.
In Galaxy’s Q2 earnings call, Cravens noted the two deals and the millions in revenue they could bring the company.
“Q2 was meaningful for more than just the numbers. We announced a ten-year agreement with Evolution, cementing the relationship with our largest customer well into future.
We also announced that, in September, we will become the exclusive distributor for EZ Baccarat in the US, Canada, the UK and online, an opportunity that we think can generate several million dollars in new revenue for us.
