British online casino provider Games Global struck a deal with the American mixed martial arts company UFC. The UFC’s licensing agency, IMG, facilitated the agreement.

Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products at UFC, Tracey Bleczinski commented on the alliance, saying the UFC has been looking for an avenue to improve its customer experience. In a UFC news release, Bleczinski noted this is the perfect venture to achieve that:

“At UFC, we’re always looking for innovative ways to engage with our passionate fanbase around the world. This exciting new partnership with Games Global allows us to do just that by bringing the intensity and energy of the Octagon to life through unique UFC-themed slot titles.

We believe that these games will be a hit with fight fans everywhere, and we are proud to be working with Games Global, a leading provider and distributor of iGaming content, to deliver this world-class entertainment experience.”

This comes on the heels of Games Global announcing its plan to list shares on the NYSE through an IPO.

Key takeaways:

  • Games Global secures collaboration with UFC for customized slot titles, facilitated by licensing agency IMG.
  • The initial rollout of UFC-themed digital slot games will be in July, following a soft launch in May.
  • Participating online casino operators to be announced.
  • The partnership promises to expand the UFC’s and Games Global’s customer base, tapping into shared demographics and improving excitement among fans of mixed martial arts and online gaming.

UFC-themed online slots will soft launch in May

As part of the agreement, Games Global will develop customized online slots for the UFC for three years.

A soft launch for the first release takes place in May, and the first rollout will be in July. The US online casino operators offering the UFC-branded digital slot games will be announced before the launch.

Digital adaptations of conventional casino slot machines that use the UFC name incorporate various UFC themes and symbols. These adaptations feature visuals that bear a striking resemblance to UFC fighters.

As the players spin the reels, they strive to align the symbols and pictures along the pay lines to secure rewards. Plus, there are extra thrilling elements that arise from free spins and wild symbols.

Chief Product Officer at Games Global, Andy Booth said: “Games Global is thrilled to announce this knockout partnership with UFC, bringing the Octagon to life across multiple epic slot titles in the next few years.

This exclusive deal allows us to develop UFC-themed online slots for the UFC’s millions of fans who share our passion for action and excitement. Partnering with UFC, one of the most popular sports brands in the world, is significant for us and we look forward to showcasing our first title to the world in the coming months.”

The partnership promises to build a customer base for both parties

The new game titles will help both parties draw in new players and fans since they have a similar target demographic.

Players who live in states where regulated iGaming is legal can enjoy these games. At the moment, legal online casinos are available in:

  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Michigan
  • Nevada
  • New Jersey
  • West Virginia
  • Pennsylvania

Games Global is solidifying its presence in North America through countless beneficial partnerships. Recently, Games Global inked an agreement with Caesars to release a custom online slot game, Caesars Palace Frenzy.
