Arizona-based casino supplier Design Works Gaming (DWG) announced a partnership with Hard Rock Bet, a division of Hard Rock Digital.

Through the partnership, DWG will supply a variety of online slot titles to Hard Rock Bet. As mentioned on PlayNJ, DWG CEO Troy Zurawski commented about the deal in a press release:

“Hard Rock’s iconic brand and reputation combined with DWG’s high-performing content is a winning combination. The partnership is a logical next step for both of us as we each look to further scale our presence in New Jersey.”

Which DWG games can Hard Rock Bet players expect?

The partnership between DWG and Hard Rock Bet is taking place in two phases.

The first phase, which has already taken place, is the launch of a small group of DWG games that includes Armadillo Artie: Gone Wild, a retro title that was shortlisted for a  “Game Retro Style” award at the 2022 CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards.

The second phase will happen at some point in the future. At that time, Hard Rock Bet will release a wider library of DWG titles.

One of those titles will likely be Flippin Rich Lucky Tap, a high-traffic title that was one of the most popular online slots in the entire country one year ago.

Hard Rock Bet, DWG partnership provides benefits to both companies

From DWG’s perspective, the Hard Rock Bet deal gives them a larger presence in New Jersey, one of the country’s three premier online casino markets.

From Hard Rock Digital’s perspective, it gets a library of popular games it can use to get a bigger slice of NJ online casino revenue. Hard Rock Digital Senior Vice President of Casino Grant Williams said in a statement:

“Our Hard Rock Bet online casino has been a hit so far in New Jersey with the addition of more casino games–hundreds more–to our all-new, easy-to-use app and web experiences. We’re excited for the addition of DWG’s popular titles to our robust gaming portfolio and to continue adding more games each month to entertain our players like no one else can.”

DWG is already working with other NJ online casinos

The news of the Hard Rock Bet deal isn’t surprising considering DWG’s history over the past 18 months.

DWG partnered with DraftKings Casino in September 2022, marking the second online gambling deal the company struck.

One month before, DWG announced its launch in the New Jersey online casino market through a partnership with BetMGM. The BetMGM deal also put DWG slots titles in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

While the DWG titles offered in New Jersey are real-money online casino games, the company is well-known for its social (no real money is bet) casino titles. DWG won the Social Gaming Operator of the Year Award at the SBC Awards North America 2022.
