FanDuel Casino and iGaming content creator Inspired Entertainment have partnered to provide Inspired online casino games in Connecticut.

Inspired announced the partnership via Twitter:

The two companies now work together in four out of seven legal US online casino states: Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

PlayUSA reached out to FanDuel Casino and Inspired Entertainment regarding the Connecticut online casino expansion but did not receive a response.

Key takeaways

  • FanDuel Casino and Inspired Entertainment expanded their iGaming partnership into Connecticut.
  • The two companies already work together in the Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania online casino markets.
  • Inspired has made a lot of moves in the U.S. market over the past year.

Inspired boosts its US influence with Connecticut

The news of UK-based Inspired Entertainment (NASDAQ: INSE) moving into the Connecticut iGaming market with FanDuel is no big surprise. The company has made consistent headlines for its game releases and partnerships over the past year.

The company has been active in the virtual sports market, launching in New Jersey with Rush Street Interactive in May.

In late June, Inspired announced it would enter Pennsylvania iGaming through bet365. This was a key moment considering Pennsylvania is the premier online casino market in the country.

And just a couple of weeks ago, the company heralded a virtual sports partnership with Scientific Games‘ online lottery division.

The moves seem to be paying off. Earlier this month, Inspired announced its Q2 2024 revenue ticked up year on year thanks to 40% year-on-year growth from its online casino gaming division.

What’s ahead for Inspired Entertainment?

The flurry of partnership expansions over the past few months is likely not the last we’ll hear. The US online casino market is a gold mine of revenue with the potential to grow considerably over the next five years.

Online casino operators like FanDuel Casino (OTCMKTS: PDYPY) are constantly scoping out new games that can keep existing customers happy and woo new ones.

Inspired’s recent moves and big-name partnerships have given it a foothold in the four top iGaming markets in the country. This past month, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan and Connecticut generated more than $637 million in revenue.

PlayUSA keeps track of US online gambling revenue and you can check out the numbers too.

The company’s experience in those four markets should give it all the preparation it needs to make a run at the next online casino state.
