More games are coming to the Pennsylvania Lottery catalog. It’s launching a new e-instant category with Instant Win Gaming (IWG), the supplier of e-instant games to NASPL and WLA-member lotteries.

The new category, eFastPlay, will be branded as EZ e-Instants by the Pennsylvania Lottery, making Keystone State the first in the US to launch this product.

In a press statement, Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko said that despite the launch broadening its online lottery portfolio, it is gunning for improved revenue and plans to release more offerings:

“We’re very excited for our new EZ eInstant category to go live. These games, provided by IWG, will be a great addition to our existing portfolio, offering up new experiences that cast a wider net of game play appeal and, in turn, create incremental revenues for older Pennsylvanians.

We have several EZ eInstant games in our future release plans, and we cannot wait to see how players respond to this new category.”

Key takeaways

  • The Pennsylvania Lottery, in collaboration with IWG, is introducing a new e-instant category named eFastPlay.
  • The Keystone State is the first in the US to launch this product.
  • The EZ e-Instants category will debut with three interactive games: Prospector’s Gold Rush, Firework Fortune Frenzy, and Treasure Tomb.

What to expect from EZ e-instants at the Pennsylvania Lottery?

The EZ e-instants category will launch with three online lottery games in the state:

  1. Prospector’s Gold Rush
  2. Firework Fortune Frenzy
  3. Treasure Tomb

These titles will introduce players to a new level of interactive gaming. In addition, the Pennsylvania Lottery has committed to expanding this category by releasing more titles in the coming months. CEO at IWG Rhydian Fisher added:

“Kudos to the team at Pennsylvania Lottery for launching the first range of EZ eInstants. This new category launch is very exciting and, frankly, has not happened too many times in the iLottery industry.

As iLottery programs mature, we feel it is critical as a strategic content supplier to offer a variety of game play experiences.

These EZ eInstants will cater to a specific group of Lottery players, providing the Pennsylvania Lottery with an opportunity to engage with new players for their iLottery program.”

IWG expands global reach with bounty of offerings

Like other IWG games, EZ eInstants run on the exclusive InstantRGS (Remote Game Server). This means that integration doesn’t need development support from the iLottery platform provider.

By using IWG’s state-of-the-art InstantJackpots technology to increase player engagement, IWG made even better this category by implementing a single jackpot feature for all EZ games.

Leveraging its innovations, IWG has successfully extended its services to over 25 countries, including various operators in the United States. A recent endeavor involves a partnership with the North Carolina Lottery to enhance its lottery offerings.

Early this year, IWG and Allwyn, a Swiss-based lottery company, partnered to expand Allwyn’s gaming options. As per the deal, Allwyn will purchase a 70% stake in IWG; the deal should close in the second half of 2024.
