Just weeks after announcing the groundbreaking for its permanent site construction, Catawba Two Kings Casino has introduced its first table games at the temporary facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
In a press release, Catawba Nation Chief Brian Harris emphasized that despite the ambitious plans for the permanent site, expected to be completed in 2026, the current facility will not be neglected, and further developments will continue at the temporary location. Harris said:
“While we are thrilled that construction is underway on our major casino resort, we are continuing to invest in our current gaming facility to broaden its appeal to residents and visitors to the greater Charlotte area and South Carolina.
We anticipate the live table games will be very popular and give people who have not been to the casino a great reason to visit.”

Online sports betting is still relatively new in the Tar Heel State but has performed exceptionally well, meeting revenue expectations. To capitalize on this booming market, the Catawba Nation has applied for an online sports betting license in North Carolina.
Although online casinos are currently not legal in the state, other forms of online gambling are available for residents to enjoy.
