You could pretty much call it CasinoCon.
The Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention 2023 (IGA) wrapped up on Wednesday, leaving in its wake the debut of a slew of new games and cabinets from some of the top firms in the US gambling business
IGT releases new Class II games
Among the big names at the convention was International Gaming Technology (IGT). The Reno-based company uncloaked a variety of new games at IGA, including two Class II slots: Prosperity Link and Wheel of Fortune.
The company’s Class II iteration of Prosperity Link includes Cai Yun Heng Tong and Wan Shi Ru Yi. Both variations are a big draw for casinos and their customers.
Paul Breci, director of slot operations at Stations Casinos, said Prosperity Link “presents itself very well, with its stunning marketing packaging.” Both variations of Prosperity Link feature free games and wilds. The games feature five reels and three lines, and payback percentages range from 86% to 94%.
In addition to Prosperity Link, IGT highlighted its Class II releases of two new themes for its Wheel of Fortune Wild Spin title: Vacations and Night Life. Wheel of Fortune is one of IGT’s premier games. Since the game launched in 1996, it has produced more than 1,100 millionaires. And it’s pumped out more than $3.4 billion in prizes.
IGT CEO of Global Gaming Renato Ascoli said:
“IGA provides IGT with a unique opportunity to meet with our valued tribal gaming customers and demonstrate products and solutions. Among many highlights at this year’s show, we will unveil Class II versions of the celebrated Prosperity Link and Wheel of Fortune games.”
Everi introduces new cabinet, multiple online games
Not to be outdone, Everi Holdings brought a new cabinet to the IGA along with a variety of new slot titles. The company put the spotlight on its new Dynasty Vue dual-screen cabinet. Dynasty Vue combines the game mechanics of a portrait cabinet along with the multiple benefits of a slant-top cabinet.
The cabinet will feature several popular Everi titles, including:
- Combo Cash
- Money Slam
- Wild Wheel
- High Rollin’ Gems
Everi also featured its Potion Explosion and Banner Series. Along with Little Shop of Horrors Director’s Cut on a 4K display. Everi Executive Vice President Dean Ehrlich said in a statement:
“We are excited to have the opportunity for customers at IGA 2023 to experience our first of many new cabinet introductions this year with the innovative Dynasty Vue cabinet and new Vue-exclusive game content. As well as additional new content from our other form factors that continue to strengthen Everi as a leading provider of gaming equipment.”
