Hard Rock Bet is bringing back its signature “Bet Party” campaign for the fall football season. However, unlike previous installments, this edition comes with a nighttime twist.
The operator unveiled the campaign this week in partnership with creative agency 72andSunny New York, building on a concept that has become one of the brand’s recognizable marketing efforts in sports betting.
Dubbed “After Dark,” the latest installment introduces a new cast of sports stars and entertainers. Alongside the campaign, the operator is also highlighting a series of football-season promotions that reinforce the same message: Everyone is welcome at the party.

Hard Rock Bet adds new stars to sports betting campaign
“After Dark” is the third chapter of the Hard Rock Bet Party campaign, which debuted under the company’s “Roll With Us” brand platform in 2024. While the core concept remains unchanged, this year’s edition features a fresh lineup, including:
- Fat Joe — Rapper
- Michael Irvin and Jimmy Johnson — Pro Football Hall of Famers
- John Daly — Golfer
- Udonis Haslem and Joakim Noah — Former NBA players
The lineup marks a change from previous editions of the campaign, which featured athletes including boxing legend Mike Tyson and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Despite the new faces, Hard Rock Bet has kept the same invitational party theme central to the series.
The campaign’s lead commercial, titled “Everybody,” follows Fat Joe as he escorts a first-time guest through a lively party where seemingly everyone knows his name. The ad reinforces Hard Rock Bet’s message that the party is open to everyone, from seasoned bettors to those who are new to sports betting.
Football season brings new HRB promotions
The campaign also ties into several football-season promotions. Through Oct. 4, eligible new and returning customers can:
- Place a $5 bet and receive $100 in bonus bets through Hard Rock Bet’s welcome (back) offer.
Additional commercials will spotlight Hard Rock Bet’s free-to-play Survivor contest for Florida online casino players, as well as other seasonal promotions available throughout the NFL season. The campaign will also highlight Hard Rock Bet’s responsible gaming tools and in-app safety features, according to the company.
Sports stars explaiin why Hard Rock Bet Party continues
Fat Joe, a returning face from earlier iterations of the campaign, described the collaboration as one that continues to feel like a natural fit. He said the brand has a knack for making people feel included and that filming alongside Johnson and Irvin helped bring that message to life. The rapper added that the cast’s familiarity made the production enjoyable.
Johnson also praised the atmosphere the production team built on set, saying the campaign struck a balance between entertainment and responsible gaming. While the campaign is designed to be fun, he noted that it also highlights player safety, an aspect he believes the brand has continued to emphasize.
Irvin, widely known by his “Playmaker” nickname, said his return coincides with the transition from the summer sports calendar to football season. He described the new installment as a continuation of his relationship with Hard Rock Bet. According to Irvin, the football calendar carries its own energy, and being part of the “After Dark” installment gave him another reason to reconnect with the campaign’s cast and crew heading into the new season.
After Dark refreshses sports betting pary concept
Lauren Varnas, vice president of brand marketing at Hard Rock Digital, said the campaign reinforces a message that has remained consistent despite changes to its cast and creative direction. She said “After Dark” provides a fresh backdrop while preserving the brand’s core invitation: “a place for everybody and entertainment for anybody” at the Hard Rock Bet Party.
Geno Burmester, group creative director at 72andSunny New York, said the agency wanted the campaign to feel physically immersive for viewers.
“The idea was always to build a world fans could physically feel themselves inside of, the music, the crowd, the unpredictable humor of what happens next,” he said. “This season just turns the lights down and keeps the party going.”
The “After Dark” campaign will run throughout the football season across television, streaming platforms, radio, paid social media and out-of-home advertising.
