Aristocrat Interactive has launched “Spooky Link Go Ghost” at participating online casinos across regulated US online casino states and Canadian provinces, bringing the popular land-based slot franchise to digital real-money gaming for the first time.

The company announced the launch Oct. 15, marking the beginning of a broader online expansion. Additional Spooky Link titles are planned throughout 2027.

Halloween timing marks franchise’s digital debut

The rollout brings “Spooky Link Go Ghost” to major online casino operators across North America. Players in regulated markets can access the online casino game through participating casino websites and mobile apps.

Dylan Slaney, CEO of Aristocrat Interactive, said the launch was timed to coincide with Halloween and is supported by leading casino operators.

According to the company’s Oct. 15 announcement, the franchise has consistently topped the Eilers & Krejcik US & Canada Game Performance Report, with its land-based titles ranking among the industry’s strongest performers.

Slaney said the franchise’s success on casino floors provided a foundation for its digital expansion.

“Bringing the brand to online RMG allows us to build on that proven success while delivering an experience tailored for digital audiences,” Slaney said.

Cash Collect mechanic gets ghostly twist

“Spooky Link Go Ghost” features Aristocrat’s Cash Collect mechanic, in which special symbols collect and enhance credit values, jackpots and other prizes appearing on the reels.

The game introduces a Ghost character that can appear randomly to boost credit values, adding another feature to the established mechanic.

Hard Rock Bet also lists the game at its online casinos in New Jersey and Michigan. Its game guide describes a five-reel, three-row layout, with wins paying from left to right.

According to the guide, the Ghost appears only on the first reel, while gems can activate their features randomly even without the Ghost.

Popular land-based franchise makes digital move

Spooky Link established its reputation in land-based casinos before expanding into online gaming. Its strong performance has made the franchise one of Aristocrat’s recognizable slot properties.

The franchise features three monster-themed games: “Go Ghost,” “Mo’ Mummy” and “Yo Yeti.”

Aristocrat Gaming showcased the trio on its Baron Portrait cabinet at ICE Barcelona in January. In the United States, “Spooky Link Grand” debuted at Mohegan Sun on Feb. 18, featuring all three base games on the King Max cabinet.

The online launch represents another step in Aristocrat’s strategy of bringing established casino-floor content to digital audiences.

For online casino operators, the release adds a recognizable slot franchise to their game libraries. It also introduces existing fans of the land-based titles to a version designed for online play.

Mo’ Mummy and Yo Yeti are the next online casino games

“Spooky Link Go Ghost” is the first title in the franchise’s online rollout, with “Mo’ Mummy” and “Yo Yeti” expected to follow.

Aristocrat Interactive plans to release additional Spooky Link games throughout 2027, although it has not announced specific launch dates.

The expansion also strengthens the company’s online gaming portfolio. Aristocrat Interactive provides content, technology and services across iGaming, iLottery, casino operations and online sports betting in regulated markets.
