British betting and gaming operator bet365 expanded its US footprint in August with the launch of online casino and sports betting in West Virginia, while its latest gaming report highlighted sharp differences in slot preferences across regulated markets.
The operator’s inaugural monthly Gaming Insights and Performance report tracks more than 7,500 casino titles across 22 regulated markets. The rankings use metrics including revenue, stakes, playing sessions and customer engagement. Table games and live dealer products are excluded.
For US players, August’s report offers a look at how rankings changed across bet365’s four real-money online casino markets: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia.

WV expands bet365’s US online gambling footprint
Bet365 launched its sportsbook and online casino in West Virginia on Aug. 27, making the state its 18th US market overall and fourth US online casino market, joining New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
The launch included two new-customer offers: “Bet $10, Get $150 + 50 Spins” and “1,000 Deposit Match + 1,000 free spins.” West Virginia customers also gained access to features including Early Payout Offer, Daily Prize Matcher and Jackpot365.
Pennsylvania online slots make major leaderboard moves
Pennsylvania produced the biggest movement in bet365’s US online gambling markets in August.
Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania Slingo climbed 10 places from No. 11 to No. 1, while 10,000 Wonders 10K Ways made the report’s largest jump overall, soaring 46 places from No. 49 to No. 3.
Fortune Coin also moved sharply, rising 29 places to No. 5. The changes made Pennsylvania one of the most active US markets in bet365’s August rankings.
Michigan and New Jersey online casinos see changes
Bet365’s Michigan online casino also experienced movement near the top of its leaderboard. Hypernova Megaways moved into the No. 1 position, while Extra Chilli climbed 14 places to No. 8.
New Jersey saw an even more dramatic change at the top. Cash Eruption High Stakes climbed 14 places to take the No. 1 position.
Bet365-exclusive Pop-A-Shot LuckyTap also gained ground, rising eight places to No. 3.
The shifts show how quickly rankings can change even in more established US online casino markets, as new and recently released titles compete with games that have maintained strong positions.
Jackpot365 builds momentum in US markets
Bet365’s Gaming Insights and Performance report also highlighted continued growth for Jackpot365, its progressive jackpot feature.
The product has paid more than $151.3 million across more than 268,000 jackpot wins since launching in December 2025. August accounted for more than 36,000 jackpot wins worth roughly $18.7 million.
In the US, Jackpot365 is available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia. The West Virginia launch produced 22 jackpot wins during the final days of August, giving the feature an early foothold in bet365’s newest US casino market.
The progressive jackpot runs alongside eligible online casino games and can also be accessed through the sportsbook bet slip.
US online casino games rankings continue to evolve
Bet365’s first monthly report provides a snapshot of how casino game preferences vary across its US markets.
Its Pennsylvania online casino recorded the largest leaderboard movements in August, while New Jersey and Michigan also saw new titles move into leading positions. West Virginia, meanwhile, is only beginning to establish its own player preferences following its Aug. 27 launch.
The September report will provide the first full month of data for West Virginia, giving bet365 a clearer picture of which online casino games are gaining traction among players in the state’s newly launched online casino market.
