BetMGM has a new home for its loyalty program, and a lot of players scrolling past it are leaving real money on the table.
The operator, live in 31 markets across the US and Canada, folded tier tracking, promotions and point management into a single Rewards Hub as part of a broader football season rollout announced earlier this month. CEO Adam Greenblatt said:
Our goal is simple: to give our players everything they need to make the most of football season.
The hub itself is just organization. What it organizes is the interesting part. BetMGM Rewards Points already convert into hotel nights, dinners, tickets and gifts through a stack of partnerships most players never dig into. Here’s what’s actually sitting in there this season.
1. Marriott Bonvoy hotel stays
BetMGM Rewards Points convert to Marriott Bonvoy points at a 1 to 1 rate, a partnership that’s been running since March 2024 and covers more than 30 hotel brands and 10,000 destinations worldwide, including the MGM Resorts properties themselves.
There’s an annual cap on how many points can move over in a given year. BetMGM has quoted different figures for that cap at different points since the partnership launched, so check the current limit in the app rather than trusting a number from a press release that could be outdated by the time you read this.
2. A comped dinner at Bellagio or National Harbor
Points convert to MGM Rewards Points, and those get redeemed for dining across MGM Resorts destinations.
That includes fountain-side seating at CARBONE Riviera inside Bellagio and the Voltaggio brothers’ steaks at their namesake steakhouse at MGM National Harbor outside Washington, D.C. It’s one of the more direct point-to-plate conversions in the program.
3. Event tickets through Gametime
Rewards Points also convert to Gametime credits, good for tickets to live sports, concerts and other events. This isn’t a new add-on for football season. BetMGM Online Casino and sportsbook has offered the Gametime conversion since at least late 2024. The Rewards Hub just puts it in front of players who never knew it existed.
4. Spa days, shows and cabanas
Beyond hotel rooms and restaurants, MGM Rewards Points redeem for the rest of the resort experience. Think Cirque du Soleil, spa treatments and poolside cabanas at MGM properties. The exact menu of what’s redeemable varies by property and by season, so the app is the source of truth on any given day rather than whatever ran here.
5. Birthday and win-anniversary gifts
Every tier gets an automatic gift during a seven-day window that starts the day before a player’s birthday, plus a second one during a seven-day window starting on the anniversary of that player’s first win.
Eligibility requires at least one dollar in real-money online casino or sportsbook wagers in the trailing 365 days. Neither gift is available to players in Nevada.
None of this is new money — it’s money already sitting in an account that most players never convert into anything. Sportsbooks and casinos adjust loyalty terms like these throughout the season, and this reflects BetMGM’s published terms as of this writing.
The Rewards Hub didn’t invent any of these five things. It just stopped hiding them.
