State of Play’s TL;DR
- The Boston Red Sox have signed a multi-year deal with Kalshi.
- The prediction company becomes the team’s official prediction market partner.
The Boston Red Sox have signed a multi-year partnership with Kalshi, naming the company the club’s official and exclusive prediction market partner.
The deal gives Kalshi new visibility across one of Major League Baseball’s most recognizable brands. It also adds another high-profile sports partnership for a prediction market operator. The agreement includes in-stadium branding at Fenway Park, social and digital activations, and broadcast radio integrations on WEEI.
It comes as Massachusetts lawmakers are pushing to outlaw sports-event contracts. The state filed a lawsuit against Kalshi in September alleging illegal sports betting practices.
Deal includes Fenway Park signage and media placements
The Red Sox said Kalshi branding will appear on LED signage around Fenway Park as part of the partnership. The company will also be featured through the team’s social and digital channels, along with integrations on WEEI broadcasts.
In a statement, Troup Parkinson, the Red Sox’s EVP and chief marketing and partnerships officer, said the club is “excited to welcome Kalshi as the Official and Exclusive Prediction Market Partner of the Boston Red Sox.”
Parkinson added that the sides share a commitment to innovation and excellence. He said the agreement creates new opportunities to engage fans.
What the partnership means for Kalshi
For Kalshi, the agreement links the company with a major sports franchise in New England and expands its exposure through team-controlled media and stadium inventory.
Adam Barrick, Kalshi’s head of sports partnerships, said the Red Sox are “culturally synonymous” with the region and called the partnership an opportunity to let Red Sox fans express their fandom through prediction markets.
The announcement did not disclose financial terms or the start date of the agreement. It also did not say whether the relationship extends beyond marketing and media assets into any product-specific integration.
What is clear from the release is that the partnership is centered on branding, fan engagement, and media presence, with Kalshi securing exclusive category status with the club.
