Caesars Entertainment has launched the first-ever land-based version of IGT PlayDigital’s popular Cash Eruption slot franchise, bringing four new titles exclusively to its Atlantic City casino properties. The rollout marks a major expansion of Caesars’ omnichannel gaming strategy as the company continues linking its online casino success with in-person gaming experiences.
The games debuted June 8 at Caesars Atlantic City, Tropicana Atlantic City and Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. According to Caesars, this is the first time any Cash Eruption title has appeared on a physical casino floor.
Cash Eruption builds on massive online success
Cash Eruption has become one of the most recognizable online slot brands in North America through Caesars’ digital casino platforms and IGT PlayDigital’s expanding iGaming portfolio.
The franchise gained additional attention earlier this year when a New Jersey player won $1,247,834 playing MegaJackpots Cash Eruption on Caesars Palace Online Casino. Caesars described the payout as the largest online jackpot in company history.
The game family also generated more than $1.1 million in jackpot payouts during a seven-day stretch in September 2025, further cementing its popularity among online casino players.
Four Cash Eruption slots make Atlantic City casino debut
The land-based launch includes four titles:
- Cash Eruption Temple of Fire
- Cash Eruption VIP Amazing Treasures
- Cash Eruption Hephaestus
- Cash Eruption Red Hot Joker
Before this rollout, the franchise existed only as a real-money online casino product.
Caesars connects online and in-person gaming
In a press release, Caesars executives described the launch as part of the company’s broader effort to connect digital gaming with on-property casino experiences.
Matthew Sunderland, senior vice president and chief iGaming officer at Caesars Digital, said Cash Eruption has consistently ranked among the company’s strongest-performing online slot franchises. He added that bringing the games to casino floors gives players another way to engage with a brand already familiar to Caesars’ online audience.
Jacob Witmer, senior vice president and general manager of Caesars Atlantic City, said the rollout strengthens the connection between Caesars’ digital platforms and its Atlantic City destinations while enhancing the overall guest entertainment experience.
The launch also arrives during a period of broader transition for Caesars Entertainment. In May 2026, the company announced a $17.6 billion acquisition agreement with Fertitta Entertainment, a deal that would combine gaming, hospitality and restaurant operations under one ownership group if completed.
IGT expands a leading real-money online casino franchise
For IGT PlayDigital, the Atlantic City rollout represents a significant milestone for one of its most successful slot franchises.
Dan Farnon, IGT senior vice president of sales for the US, called the launch an important expansion of the Cash Eruption brand into the land-based casino market. He said the partnership reflects both companies’ focus on creating connected experiences across digital and retail gaming channels.
IGT has operated in the casino gaming industry since 1975 and helped pioneer technologies such as wide-area progressive jackpots. Its PlayDigital division has become a major supplier in the North American online casino market, where Cash Eruption remains one of its top-performing franchises.
Caesars links online gaming with loyalty rewards
Players 21 and older can access Cash Eruption titles online through Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino on desktop, iOS and Android devices.
The platforms currently operate in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and Ontario. All platforms connect with Caesars Rewards, allowing eligible US players to earn Reward Credits redeemable across more than 50 Caesars destinations in North America.
Caesars emphasizes responsible gaming standards
Caesars said its responsible gaming efforts date back to 1989, when the company launched Project 21, which it describes as the casino industry’s first formal responsible gaming program.
The company also noted that Caesars Sportsbook received RG Check accreditation from Ontario’s Responsible Gambling Council in 2024 for meeting responsible gaming standards.
