Caesars Entertainment has released the fall schedule for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online. For the first time in its history, the fall series will include pooled liquidity from four significant real-money online casino jurisdictions: Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Caesars Digital Vice President of Online Poker Danielle Barille said in a statement:
“With four jurisdictions contributing to the fall player pool for the first time ever, the stage is set for the world’s best poker players to compete in a thrilling run of high-stakes action as they chase coveted gold bracelets.”
The fall series will host its first event on Sept. 28 and conclude Nov. 11.
WSOP fall series adds Pennsylvania to online casino player pool
The fall WSOP Online series will include 33 bracelet events. Buy-ins range from $250 to $3,200, with start times from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Pacific. All but 10 events have buy-ins below $1,000, opening the door for recreational and professional players alike.
Other highlights include:
- Double bracelet events on select Sundays
- High-roller and Monster Stack tournaments
- $500,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Championship
- One Lucky 7’s event and two Crazy 8’s events
- A $3,200 High-Roller Championship
All bracelet and ring winners will also receive hotel accommodations and entry into the WSOP Circuit Championship event on Dec. 4 at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
The expanded four-state player pool is expected to boost prize pools and increase competition. This is the first fall series to feature a four-state player pool, following the addition of Pennsylvania online casino players in April.
“This expansion enhances the experience for players by building even greater prize pools that are up for grabs all summer long as a part of our jam-packed WSOP Online schedule,” Barille said in April when Caesars announced Pennsylvania had joined the pool.
Four-state player pool pushes WSOP Online payouts to $481.8M
The four-state pool debuted during the WSOP’s summer series, helping the event set multiple records, including:
- Total entries: 246,960
- Total prize money: $481.8 million
- Total places paid: 37,311
- Entries for a single $1,500 event: 11,996
- Entries for a single $3,000 event: 3,797
The record-breaking results prompted WSOP CEO Ty Stewart to declare that “the poker renaissance was on full display.”
