NJ online casino player turns $2 into record $2.1M
New Jersey produced July’s biggest payout after a player from Newark turned a $2 wager on Silver Lux – Sevens Hold’em Respin into a $2,097,043.30 NJ Mega Jackpot on July 4.
The payout was the largest single win in Hard Rock Bet history and marked the third-ever progressive jackpot payout in New Jersey. It was also the first New Jersey Mega Jackpot to surpass $2 million, with the winning amount exceeding the previous record by more than $154,000.
The $2 wager produced a payout worth more than 1 million times the original stake.
Michigan also produced a major progressive jackpot during July. A player won $233,268.81 on Bigger Piggy Bank on July 8.
NJ and Michigan players land major slot wins
The month’s biggest non-jackpot casino payout came from Divine Fortune Gold, which turned an $8 wager from a New Jersey player into a $130,296.98 payout.
That win was worth more than 16,000 times the original wager. Two other New Jersey players also landed six-figure payouts:
- Divine Fortune turned a $100 wager into $107,512.43.
- Slingo Deal or No Deal turned a $100 wager into exactly $100,000.
Michigan produced July’s biggest return relative to the original casino wager. A $1.20 bet on EggLink Dolphin Gold paid $71,134.19, or 60,000 times the original stake.
Together, the wins highlighted the range of payouts generated by both progressive jackpot slots and non-jackpot real-money slot games during the month.
$50 MLB parlay turns into $229,396 payday
The biggest sportsbook payout of July came from a $50, seven-leg MLB parlay that returned $229,396.66.
Six legs were home run props, while the seventh required Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds to record a hit. Every selection was successful.
The six home run picks were:
- Kazuma Okamoto of the San Diego Padres
- Junior Caminero of the Tampa Bay Rays
- James Wood of the Washington Nationals
- Rafael Devers of the San Francisco Giants
- Miguel Vargas of the Chicago White Sox
- Ben Rice of the New York Yankees
Reynolds completed the ticket by recording a hit for the Pirates.
$25 Rocket Classic ticket produces six-figure payout
Golf also produced one of July’s largest sportsbook payouts after a bettor turned a $25, nine-leg parlay on Round 1 three-ball matchups at the Rocket Classic into $152,285.59.

Florida game posts two six-figure wins in two days
Florida’s Real Money Games powered by Past Motor Racing also generated substantial payouts in July.
Lucky Box Roulette produced the two largest Real Money Games payouts of the month, with a $259,100 win on July 28 followed by a $146,400 payout the next day.
The first win was the largest Real Money Games payout Hard Rock Bet reported for July. The consecutive six-figure payouts made Lucky Box Roulette the standout title in the category for the month.
Another Florida player turned a $2 wager on Triple Stash Mummy into $4,800. The payout was worth 2,400 times the original stake.
