A report published Sept. 15 by MLive compared six casino apps licensed for online casino gaming in Michigan, focusing on phone experience, navigation, game discovery, account access, rewards integration, and deposit-withdrawal flow. The list highlights how major operators are positioning their mobile products for players who move between sports betting and casino play during a busy fall betting period.
Fanatics leads the Michigan app comparison
Fanatics Casino ranked first because its Sports & Casino app lets Michigan users switch between sports betting and casino play under one account. The report also noted that eligible wagers earn FanCash, which can be used for casino credits, bonus bets, merchandise or tickets.
FanDuel Casino ranked second and was highlighted for a dedicated casino app that keeps core functions close together. DraftKings Casino placed third, with the report pointing to August app updates aimed at reducing crashes, speeding up loading times, improving recommendations, and simplifying deposit and withdrawal navigation.
DraftKings Casino was also described as offering more than 1,000 games.
App Store ratings checked on Sept. 15 were listed at 4.8 out of 5 for Fanatics and FanDuel, 4.7 for DraftKings, BetMGM Casino and Caesars Palace Online Casino, and 4.3 for bet365 Casino.
BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365 stand out on size, rewards, and payouts
BetMGM Casino ranked fourth and was noted for a compact iOS app of roughly 131 MB. The report said the app lists more than 450 slots, 50-plus jackpot slots, more than 35 Slingo games, live-dealer tables, and virtual sports.
Caesars Palace Online Casino came in fifth, with Caesars Rewards integrated into the casino experience. The app also includes live blackjack, baccarat, and roulette.
Bet365 Casino ranked sixth and was singled out for payout options. Its iOS app was listed at about 36 MB, and the report said Apple Pay withdrawals can be instant, while debit card, PayPal, and Venmo withdrawals are listed at one to four hours.
What the ranking shows
The comparison is not a regulatory update, but it offers a snapshot of how Michigan’s licensed online casino operators are competing on app quality rather than just game count.
