New Jersey online casino players scored several massive jackpots in September. The biggest win came on Sept. 13, when a player took home a $1.2 million jackpot from playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin on DraftKings Online Casino. The million-dollar payout was one of four wins topping $500,000.
DraftKings, BetMGM lead massive online casino wins
Each month, the DGE reports all in-person and online slot wins of more than $40,000. Last month’s numbers reveal an interesting trend: All four $500,000-plus jackpots were won in the first half of the month:
- $1,174,826.01 – Sept. 13 on DraftKings Online Casino
- $808,171.75 – Sept. 4 on DraftKings Online Casino
- $536,250 – Sept. 4 on BetMGM Online Casino
- $518,200 – Sept. 2 on FanDuel Casino
The BetMGM Casino $500,000-plus jackpot came on a day when it paid out five jackpots of at least $200,000 on Sept. 4, all from its First Person Baccarat game. The site went on another impressive run Sept. 15, awarding four more jackpots of at least $200,000.
BetMGM Online Casino was the casino–online or in-person–to have multiple days where players won at least four jackpots of $200,000 or more.
In total, New Jersey online casino players win 24 jackpots of $200,000 or more in September, with BetMGM’s First Person Baccarat accounting for nearly half of them:

According to data from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), September produced seven more $200,000–plus jackpot wins than August but one fewer jackpot of $500,000 or more. DraftKings Online Casino paid out a pair of $1 million jackpots on Aug. 3, marking the first time this year that players have won multiple $1 million jackpots on the same day.
