Scientific Games has launched Game Show Experience, a new omnichannel Linked Game that gives lottery players a chance to win prizes of up to $10 million. Released Jan. 6, the offering features three iconic television game shows: The Price Is RightFamily Feud and Press Your Luck.

The promotion is designed to bring the excitement of these award-winning programs to lottery players across retail and digital channels, including iLottery platforms. By blending familiar TV brands with modern lottery formats, Scientific Games aims to drive player engagement and participation.

Bringing classic TV game shows to modern lottery play

  • The Price Is Right — The longest-running game show on television, with more than 50 years on air and multiple Emmy Awards.
  • Family Feud — Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and currently the No. 1-rated syndicated show among adults ages 25–54.
  • Press Your Luck — A fan favorite known for its mix of strategy, suspense and high-stakes gameplay.

Tina Hoover, vice president of licensing for Scientific Games, said the enduring popularity of these franchises makes them a natural fit for lottery players.

“The lasting popularity of these classic television game shows makes Game Show Experience a natural fit for lottery players,” Hoover said. “It captures the fun, excitement and big moments people associate with game shows, turning that feeling into a fresh kind of lottery promotion.”

Retail, fast play and iLottery: multiple ways to play

Game Show Experience is an omnichannel lottery product, meaning it is offered across multiple formats depending on each lottery’s distribution strategy and regulatory environment.

Players can participate through:

  • Retail instant games, including traditional scratch tickets
  • Fast Play games, which are printed on demand at lottery terminals
  • Digital games, available through participating lotteries’ iLottery websites and mobile apps

The digital component allows players to engage with Game Show Experience online, similar to eInstant or digital scratch-style games, where permitted by state regulations. These iLottery offerings are accessed through official lottery platforms rather than third-party gaming sites.

In addition, players who do not win instantly — whether playing at retail or digitally — can enter second-chance drawings online by submitting eligible tickets through their lottery’s website or app.

Experiential prizes finish in a $10 million opportunity

Winners of the second-chance drawing will receive an exclusive trip to Los Angeles in fall 2027, including five days and four nights in the city. The experience includes attending a taping of The Price Is Right as special guests.

For the grand finale, winners will return to the iconic game show stage for a private Game Show Experience event, where they will compete for a grand prize of up to $10 million.

Market data supports game show brands in iLottery play

In their press release, Scientific Games says a 2025 national consumer study found strong interest in the three featured game shows across multiple demographics. The brands ranked highly in awareness, likability and purchase intent — key indicators for successful lottery integrations.

The findings suggest Game Show Experience has strong potential to boost engagement, drive digital and retail participation, and increase lottery sales.

A continued push into omnichannel and iLottery innovation

Scientific Games pioneered Linked Games in 2007 and has since generated more than $6.6 billion in retail value from similar promotions, including Deal or No Deal and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

With Game Show Experience, the company continues to expand its omnichannel and iLottery offerings, blending well-known entertainment brands with innovative lottery play for a modern audience.
