Fanatics Casino’s most reluctant employee is back, and her workload just got heavier. The operator has brought Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson back as Fran, the long-suffering head of accounting who believes the company gives away too much to players.
This time, Fran has a new reason to worry. Fanatics Casino has unveiled Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards, a seven-level loyalty program that offers bigger benefits as players move up the ranks. The campaign introducing the program reunites Fran with a cast of reality TV and social media personalities.
Where players can access Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards
Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards is now live on the Fanatics Sports and Casino app. The online casino operates in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, with access through iOS, Android and desktop browsers.
The platform offers more than 2,500 online casino games from about 40 providers and over 100 game studios, spanning real-money slots, blackjack, roulette, video poker and progressive jackpots. Fanatics Casino has also expanded its lineup of officially licensed WWE-themed games in recent months.
Fanatics Casino operates under Fanatics Betting and Gaming, the gaming division of Fanatics, launched in 2021. The company also runs Fanatics Sportsbook, which — according to Fanatics — now serves about 95% of the addressable US online sports betting market.
A bigger rewards program means more stress for Fran
The loyalty program lets players climb through seven levels, unlocking weekly Bet & Get FanCash promotions, Mystery Drops, FanCash Multipliers and Casino Credit offers. Higher levels also bring eligibility for exclusive weekly sweepstakes.
Players can redeem FanCash for Casino Credit, Bonus Bets or Fanatics merchandise — giving the rewards currency multiple uses across the company’s ecosystem, and giving Fran, predictably, more to worry about.
Fran debuted earlier this year as part of Fanatics Casino’s “The House Always Rewards” campaign, in which Henson plays the company’s perpetually frustrated head of accounting. Fanatics Casino has said Fran’s frustration reflects the campaign’s central idea: While players enjoy generous rewards, someone inside the business has to worry about the cost.
Reality TV and social media stars join the campaign
In the new campaign, Fran is once again outnumbered as her co-workers enthusiastically rave about the rewards program. The cast includes “The Bachelorette” alum Kaitlyn Bristowe, Taylor Swift Eras Tour dancer Kameron Saunders, “Southern Charm” personality Austen Kroll and Brooklyn-based content creator Louie Fevola.
Michael Afflick, vice president of marketing at Fanatics Casino, said the campaign’s humor comes from the contrast between Fran and everyone around her: She’s the only one unhappy about the company’s growing generosity, while everyone else embraces it.
New ad campaign follows Fran around the office
The campaign launches with two TV commercials, backed by online video, social media content, digital advertising and out-of-home placements.
In the first ad, “Did You Hear?,” Fran can’t eat lunch or sneak off to the restroom without a co-worker interrupting to talk about the new rewards program. The second, “Rewards Daymare,” pushes the joke further: FanCash Spins, jackpots and reminders of the company’s generosity follow Fran everywhere — across office spaces, billboards, her coffee order and even a massage.
Each featured personality will also publish campaign-related social content to extend the promotion beyond television.
