Free Play Your Way To A Seat On Poker Night in America With New App

Written By Martin Derbyshire on June 27, 2017

[toc]TV’s Poker Night In America just launched a new social poker app. Plus, they’re promising players on that app the chance to win a seat to play on the show.

It’s not a real-money online poker app. However, it is real poker, and Poker Night In America will be giving one lucky player the opportunity to play on TV.

“We have been asked time after time as to whether there will ever be any way to join in the action at our Poker Night tables,” said show producer Todd Anderson, president of Rush Street Productions. “Now we can finally say yes.”

Poker app free in Apple and Google Play stores

The Poker Night in America app is free. It is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app was developed by social casino game and mobile platform designer KamaGames Group.

The Poker Night in America app features a number of different Texas Hold’em-based poker games, including:

  • Sit’N’Go tournaments
  • Shootout tournaments
  • Scratch cards
  • Daily quests
  • Daily bonuses
  • Unlockable achievements

The app also features a virtual goods store as well as a simple-to-use tutorial. It will also offer players the chance to win prizes, including private poker lessons from famous pro poker players and the opportunity to play in livestreamed poker games.

Play on Poker Night in America

Additionally, the Poker Night in America app is giving players the chance to enter a sweepstakes with a VIP grand prize package, including $5,000 in playing cash to play on a Poker Night in America episode. The episode may include pros Phil Hellmuth, Doug Polk, or Shaun Deeb. Hollywood’s star players like Jennifer Tilly and Brad Garrett have appeared on episodes of Poker Night in America as well.

Grand prize package winners will be flown to an American casino to play on a real episode of the show. They will also appear on the official Poker Night Twitch Channel live stream at Twitch TV.

To be eligible for the sweepstakes, players have to download the app and play at least five hands. Entry into the sweepstakes is automatic.

Take on World Champ Phil Hellmuth

Former World Series of Poker Main Event champion and 14-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth said he’s looking forward to playing on the app.

“Having taken pots from some of the world’s best, I am looking forward to the new challenge of crushing players on social poker,” he said in a release. “This Poker Night app is going to give me lots of new players from around the world to take down and clean out, so what’s not to like? I’ll see you at the tables.”

Poker Night in America and partner KamaGames

The Poker Night app uses a lab certified KamaGames Random Number Generator for the poker games. It shares players with other KamaGames poker apps, increasing the player pool size.

Poker Night in America airs on CBS Sports Network in the US. It is currently in its fifth season of providing highlights from cash games featuring many of the game’s best players, celebrities, and popular figures from the world of poker. Producers Rush Street Gaming also operate the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and its PlaySugarHouse New Jersey online casino site.

The KamaGames Group has its corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and claims its games have over 85 million players around the world.
