Is it worth it? In this case, I’d say that’s a resounding “yes!” The prizes I won from regular paylines were rarely more than 2x or 3x the bet, but I wasn’t even paying attention to those, I was so fixated on those connecting symbols. It’s most exciting when the Almighty feature triggers and starts adding more Connect & Collect symbols to the reels, as that’s when you have the best chance to reach the prize-laden sixth reel.
My one complaint is that I wish those “special locations” with the prizes spun first, before the regular reels. As it is, you want to form connections but don’t know which would be the best spot to connect to. If it spun the prizes first, there’d be an extra moment of excitement when you see Free Spins or a Jackpot come up on the third reel, in potentially easy reach.
