Paris’ famed Louvre Museum, a global destination for art fans, history buffs, and clueless Americans like me, recently shut its doors (temporarily). The staff is overworked and overwhelmed, according to a CNN article about the closure. So before anything else, let me start with this: I feel for the staff and hope they can work out a system that gives them better balance.
I’ve been to the Louvre. I’ve seen the Mona Lisa (or whatever copy of it they had on display in November of 2016).
