Shortly after obtaining an interim authorization from the Pennsylvania Gambling Commission Board (PGCB) last month, Relax Gaming’s brand RLX Gaming is going live in the Keystone State with BetMGM Casino.
“The interim authorization process with PGCB was completed in the space of a few months and is a testimony to our capacity in securing fast time to market in a complex environment and we are delighted that we are now ready to go live within the state,” Alexia Smilovic Ronde, chief regulatory officer at RLX Gaming, said.
As a result of this partnership, RLX Gaming, which launched last December with BetMGM in New Jersey, will be rolling out its pile of online casino content for players in Pennsylvania. Some of these titles will include The Great Pigsby and The Epic Joker.
In a news release, Martin Stålros, the new CEO of Relax Gaming, talked about the company’s expansion into the United States. Given BetMGM’s dominance in the U.S. market, Relax Gaming would be able to leverage a substantial client base.
“We’re extremely excited to continue our U.S. ambitions with the go live in Pennsylvania,” Stålros said. “We have had a very encouraging start in New Jersey together with BetMGM, and we’re delighted that our games resonate so well in the market.
“Launching in a new state allows us to continue our upward trajectory and progress further in the US market in 2024.”

Relax Gaming sets eyes on U.S. online casino market
Currently, Relax Gaming offers a library of over 4,000 online casino games. This collection includes both games from third-party studios and its own exclusive online slots.

Titles like The Great Pigsby and Epic Joker are popular, and now they will be available to more players on BetMGM casino sites in Pennsylvania,” Oliver Bartlett, vice president of Gaming Product & Content for BetMGM, said.
The admission into Pennsylvania will be the second legal online casino state in which RLX Gaming will go live in partnership with BetMGM. Hence, it is likely that it will not stop there in expanding its American presence.

Continuing its expansion in the U.S., it Relax Gaming also established a collaboration with the American brand Light & Wonder earlier this year.
