SIS (Sports Information Services) teamed up with global sports technology provider Genius Sports to extend the distribution rights of its esports products to the US gambling market.

Following the initial announcement of the collaboration in mid-February, the updated contract enables Genius Sports to deliver SIS’ Head-to-Head (H2H) Global Gaming League game selection to its extensive US sportsbook network.

According to the company’s press release, the expanded contract will considerably broaden the audience reach of SIS’s sports simulation product. SIS esports products are available across the US sportsbooks in:

  • New Jersey
  • Colorado
  • Kentucky

SIS strengthens partnership with Genius Sports to support its US strategy

Bet365 helped launch SIS in New Jersey in 2022. The company later expanded its reach to Colorado through partnerships with bet365 and Betsafe. Last week, SIS Content Services rolled out its basketball esport product in Kentucky through an agreement with bet365.

SIS esports products, built entirely in-house from the company’s UK studios, feature regular short-form esoccer and ebasketball contests between professional gamers.

According to SIS, the competitive matchups from its H2H Global Gaming league include:

  • Ultra-low latency live streaming
  • Live caster commentary
  • On-screen graphics with betting prompts for enhanced player engagement

Michele Fischer, vice president at SIS Content Services, said in a press release:

“Our sports sims titles continue to gain traction in the states that we are currently operating. Strengthening our partnership with Genius Sports supports our US strategy for widespread distribution of our esports products across all states.

Our esoccer and ebasketball products have a clear track record of adding significant value to the bottom line of operators and we are sure US-focused brands will benefit greatly from having our content within their portfolios.”

SIS esports is accredited by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), with visible, trained referees overseeing every match.

Genius Sport continues to deliver the ‘widest array’ of betting opportunities

Genius Sports serves sportsbooks and lotteries worldwide with:

  • Data
  • Odds
  • Streaming
  • Trading
  • Marketing solutions driving profits and cost efficiencies across the industry

Matt Stephenson, global partnership director at Genius Sports, said: “SIS’ Competitive Gaming product is a compelling product that is already resonating with operators and players in the US. We have been delighted to integrate such an innovative product into our offering, and by providing this margin-increasing content to our US partners, we are continuing to deliver the widest array of wagering opportunities.”

The company partnered with several US gambling operators, including FanDuel and DraftKings.
