Malta-based slots provider Stakelogic announced it has earned a supplier’s license from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).
The license allows Stakelogic to provide its suite of slot-machine games to operators in the lucrative Pennsylvania online casino market.
In a statement from the company, Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar said the company hopes to replicate its success in Europe.
“Our slots have topped the charts in markets across Europe and beyond, so we are incredibly excited to see them launch in the state of Pennsylvania. This is one of the most successful iGaming states with a growing and maturing market where players are now seeking more feature-rich games.”
The US license is the first one the company has obtained.
Stakelogic offers classic games with modern twists
Stakelogic’s business model focuses on providing classic games with contemporary features.
Slots customers are, in general, used to seeing traditional symbols when playing slots: fruit, bells, 7s, and BARS. Stakelogic uses those familiar elements in its slots but adds nuances that add to gameplay. Some of those nuances include wilds, multipliers, and free spins.
The company believes that offering games based on classic symbols will help make the transition from in-person slots to online slots easier.
“These games will help online casino operators in the state provide players with games that are similar to those found on the floors of land-based casinos,” the company noted. “This, in turn, will help them to transition to online and mobile play while also building high levels of trust.”
And while the company believes it does an effective job of catering to traditional players, it also has a collection of modern games that do away with classic symbols:
- Money Track: An Old West-themed title featuring a variety of Wild West characters and lucrative bonuses.
- Treasures of Ra: A 10-line, Egyptian-themed game with multiple bonuses and a max multiplier of 20,000.
- Greedy Fox: A farm-themed game in which players get multiple wilds and bonuses, as 20 pay lines and a max win of $500,000.
“Our suite of video slots absolutely provides [feature-rich games], while our classic slots are great for those trying online play for the first time or simply prefer the style and gameplay of traditional slot machine games,” van der Oetelaar said on the Stakelogic website. “Stakelogic has become a must-have studio for operators in markets all over the world, and we believe this will be the case in the US, too.”
The Pennsylvania online casino market is booming
Pennsylvania is the premier online casino market in the country. It’s no wonder then, that Stakelogic had its sights set on the Keystone State.
Last month, Pennsylvania online casinos brought in a record $181.5 million in revenue. It was first in revenue among the five states in the country that offer online casinos.
Additionally, slots made up more than 75% of the state’s record-breaking revenue.
