Bally’s Corp. announced a strategic partnership with Stakelogic, a well-known live casino supplier.

The partnership follows the passage of a bill that legalized online casinos in Rhode Island in June. This extended Bally’s role as the active casino operator in the state to include iGaming.

As part of their agreement, Bally’s will use Stakelogic’s software, studio technology, and operational excellence to launch Bally’s live casino in North America.

Rhode Island will soon have access to Bally’s online casino

Gov. Daniel McKee signed a bill that legalizes online casino play in the state on June 22. The Rhode Island House of Representatives previously passed legislation 57-11 to authorize online casinos.

With this change, Rhode Island will become the seventh US state that legalized online casinos. The other states are:

  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Michigan
  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • West Virginia

Bally’s and IGT are the only gaming entities in the state. The companies operate two brick-and-mortar casinos, the lottery and sports betting.

Rhode Islanders are only months away from having legal access to Bally’s online casino.

What can Rhode Island online casino players expect from Bally’s?

As noted in the company’s press release, Bally’s plans to offer “popular online live casino games” starting April next year. The selection will include games like:

  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
