Strive Gaming, Four Winds Become Michigan Online Casino Partners

Strive Gaming, a Vancouver-based gaming tech firm, announced it finalized an online casino partnership with Four Winds Casinos in Michigan.

Strive Gaming, a Vancouver-based gaming tech firm, announced it finalized an iGaming partnership with Four Winds Casinos, which runs three casinos in Michigan.

Strive’s technology will improve Four Winds’ online gaming operations and customer engagement. On their LinkedIn profile, Strive Gaming stated:

“Together, we’re poised to revolutionize the online gaming landscape in Michigan. This strategic alliance will leverage advanced technologies, including operational automation and real-time engagement, with a keen focus on enhancing the overall online gaming experience through a player-centric approach.”

Michigan is one of just six states offering real-money online casinos and is among the top three for handle (total amount bet) and revenue.

Strive Gaming to improve Four Winds’ online casino player experience

There  are millions to be made in the Michigan online casinos industry. As such, iGaming operators like Four Winds must provide online casino players in Michigan with the best possible user experience.

That means consistently offering new games, popular existing games, and an easy-to-use apps. It also means seamless deposits and withdrawals, and attractive promotions that keep players loyal.

On the back end, achieving those objectives requires collaboration with technical experts like Strive Gaming that can improve a casino’s iGaming platform.

An improved gaming experience means Four Winds will have an easier time keeping customers it already has and gaining new customers that would otherwise go to a competitor.

Who is Strive Gaming?

Strive’s management team consists of execs with robust experience in the gaming industry. CEO Max Meltzer previously worked at Kambi, a prominent sports betting platform provider that works with DraftKings.

Chief Marketing Officer Jamie Shea is a gaming industry vet. His resume includes positions at Hard Rock, Caesars, IGT, and DraftKings.

Over the past few months, Strive has partnered with sportsbook PointsBet. Its finance director Nathan Caruana was a finalist for iGaming Idol’s Finance Manager of the Year. And the company was a finalist in the platform provider category at the 2023 American Gambling Awards.

Who is Four Winds Casinos?

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians operate Four Winds Casinos. It operates three casinos in Michigan—New Buffalo, Hartford, and Dowagiac—and one in South Bend, Indiana.

It operates sportsbooks at each location but does not provide a standalone sports betting app.

Four Winds is one of the state’s most profitable gaming enterprises. According to a Tribal Gaming report by the MGCB, it had the third-highest gaming revenue among the 12 federally recognized tribes in the state in 2022, bringing in more than $250 million.
