Arizona is a promising sports betting market
Arizona sports betting has recently become the fastest US legal gambling state to reach $10 billion in sports betting handle. It took Arizona only 20 months to reach that milestone.
Out of 29 US states with legal sports betting, Arizona is among nine to have reached $10 billion.
In April, Arizona sportsbooks generated $535.7 million in handle, with a slight monthly decrease from March. Compared year-over-year, the handle was up 4.5% from April 2022.
There are currently 17 online sportsbooks in Arizona. The state will also allow three new licenses in August, resulting in a maximum of 20 licensees.
