Malta-based gaming provider Wazdan can’t get enough of New Jersey. The company announced signing an online gaming partnership with BetMGM NJ.
Wazdan’s games are available through the BetMGM online casino in the Garden State. The announcement comes just days after Wazdan inked a deal with Tipico.
Two Wazdan games already live with BetMGM Casino
The Wazdan-BetMGM deal had an immediate impact on the New Jersey iGaming market. Two Wazdan games went live in the state after the announcement: Magic Stars 3 and Sizzling 777 Deluxe.
Wazdan describes Magic Stars 3 as a “retro-styled” online slots game with three reels and five pay lines. Players have the chance to earn multipliers and the maximum win is 200 times the bet.
Sizzling 777 also features an old-school feel. It has five reels and 20 lines, with a maximum win of 305 times the bet.
Wazdan has a library of more than 100 games, but it’s unclear how many of those games will be available to and through BetMGM Casino.
Additionally, the company plans to release four new games by the end of the year: one this month and three next month.
BetMGM New Jersey deal follows Tipico partnership
Less than a week before Wazdan announced games landing on BetMGM, the company finalized a game distribution deal with Tipico online casino.
Wazdan noted at least nine games that would be available through Tipico, including its award-winning title Power of Gods: Hades.
New partnerships continue Wazdan’s growth in New Jersey
Though its partnerships with Tipico and BetMGM are new, Wazdan’s presence in New Jersey online casinos isn’t. The company was approved to go live in the Garden State in May 2021.
The company’s initial entry into the market was a smart one, as New Jersey has become a premier state for online casino revenue.
Izabela Slodkowska-Popiel, Wazdan’s head of accounting management for North America, said in a Wazdan press release that the company is excited to link up with BetMGM:
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with BetMGM in New Jersey. BetMGM has an outstanding reputation, and this partnership will further solidify our presence in the US market. We look forward to seeing players in New Jersey enjoy our games on their platform.”
