Last week, White Hat Studios inked a deal with Stardust Casino, the online gaming arm of Boyd Interactive, in a major coup for its US expansion plans that will see the studio’s games first hit Pennsylvania, and eventually New Jersey.
According to a LinkedIn post by the company, Daniel Lechner, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at White Hat Studios, announced he was pleased about the company’s expansion venture.
We’re delighted to partner with Stardust Casino to bring our content to even more players in Pennsylvania, with New Jersey following shortly after.
“Our games continue to resonate strongly with US audiences, and this collaboration is a testament to the quality and popularity of our offerings. We’re excited to begin this journey with Stardust and are confident it will lead to fantastic results for both parties.”
What should players expect from the partnership?
Counting the win for Stardust Casino players, the online casino platform is set to roll out a suite of branded slots from White Hat Studios. Fans of classic TV and movies will be seeing titles in their debut like:
- The Flintstones
- Ted
- Peaky Blinders
Initially, players in Pennsylvania will get first dibs, with a New Jersey launch hot on its heels in the coming months.
More is still to come to players in the Keystone State as Stardust Casino will be introducing White Hat Studios’ Jackpot Royale feature, a progressive jackpot system that’s been making waves in the gaming world.
Jackpot Royale is currently live in 30 games, giving players the chance to win big with a progressive jackpot that just keeps growing.
Alexander Angelo, CRM Director at Boyd Interactive commented on the new partnership.
Partnering with White Hat Studios aligns with our mission to offer a best-in-class gaming experience.
“Their dynamic portfolio and innovative features, such as Jackpot Royale, add incredible value to our platform, and we’re thrilled to launch their games in Pennsylvania as a first step in what we anticipate will be a highly successful partnership.”
Pennsylvania’s gaming market continues to thrive
November was a banner month for gambling in Pennsylvania, with the state’s Gaming Control Board reporting a record-breaking $562 million in revenue. That is a 26% increase from November 2023, and it is clear what is driving the surge is sports betting and online gaming.
According to the board’s numbers, sports wagering revenue jumped to $83 million, up 73% from last year. Online gaming, meanwhile, pulled in $144 million, a 35% year-over-year increase.
But it is not just those two areas that are contributing to the state’s gaming boom. Revenue from slots, table games, and fantasy contests also rose, while video gaming terminals (VGTs) held steady.
All told, the Pennsylvania gaming industry had a remarkable year, with revenue up across the board. And with the sports betting and online gaming markets continuing to grow, it is likely we will see even more records broken in the months to come.
