BetMGM is doing everything within its power to be ahead of its competitors, as yesterday, the sports betting operator announced the launch of its new online sports betting app in Nevada.
BetMGM’s plan to unlock the Las Vegas market was first revealed during the company’s Investor Day presentation, held toward the end of last year. The operator has carefully targeted the launch to sync just in time for the Las Vegas Super Bowl, which will no doubt garner more registrants and boost traffic on the app.
What should Nevada sports fans expect from the upgraded BetMGM app?
First off, the mobile app is being powered by Entain, one of the companies that owns BetMGM. Drawing an inference from preceding BetMGM offerings, fans should expect stress-free and easy navigation, as this app features:
- Withdrawals
- Parlay wager options
- Live streaming options
- Digital deposits
Besides these features, users should also expect a handful of rewards, as BetMGM Casino and Sportsbook are designed to offer loyalty programs. Having interlinked the Nevada app with the BetMGM Rewards system, every wager placed in Nevada through the app will earn the user BetMGM Rewards Points and also MGM Rewards Tier Credits.
These credits can unlock VIP privileges to the MGM Resorts’ 20+ premier destination resorts, including:
- ARIA
- MGM Grand
- Bellagio
- Mandalay (Las Vegas)
- MGM National Harbor (Maryland)
- Borgata (Atlantic City)
- Beau Rivage (Mississippi)
Rewards aren’t the only things to expect from the new app. Fans in Silver State should watch out for the expanded pre-game and in-game options.
With the help of Entain’s Angstrom Sports technology, the app will permit a large number of markets for the ‘Big Four’ US sports. Hence, there will be a wide range of pre-game and in-game betting options for players. Other perks include attractive odds on teams and play-by-play bets.
In a BetMGM press statement, Chief Executive Officer Adam Greenblatt mentioned that Las Vegas being a tourist attraction and a home for foreigners will no doubt attract patrons to use the app, especially because of the big event on the way.
“As the world’s biggest sporting event arrives in Las Vegas this week, it is the ideal moment to introduce Nevada to our premier mobile sports betting app. Nevada attracts people from around the world and is home to an incredibly knowledgeable sports fan base. It is vital to provide them with a superior product, and we are thrilled to do that with this launch.”
BetMGM is expanding across borders to spring its offerings
BetMGM, which is jointly owned by Entain and MGM Resorts International, keeps taking any opportunity to expand its reach. The sports betting and online casino company has been able to spread its offerings, both online and retail, across 28 markets.
To be ahead of its competitors, BetMGM recently struck a major deal with X, the Elon Musk-owned social media platform (formerly known as Twitter). This agreement also targeted the Super Bowl event, as BetMGM will provide sports betting data to the site.
