Ranking Atlantic City Casinos According to Their Food Options

Whether you’re a slot player, a card shark, or a people watcher, you’ve gotta eat sometime! In Atlantic City, there are always dozens of food options just within your reach, so today, we’re ranking the city’s casinos based on their dining.

9. Bally’s Atlantic City

Bally’s only falls this far on the list because it lacks the sheer variety of its competitors. Even so, Bally’s offers a nice selection of dining options, including Jerry Longo’s Meatballs & Martinis, Park Place Prime, and Macau Kitchen. Budget options are also offered—Dunkin’ Johnny Rockets, and Sack O’ Subs are the highlights in this category.

8. Golden Nugget Casino

Golden Nugget only appears near the bottom of our list because its options lack the “wow” factor. There are still some amazing restaurants, including Chart House and Vi & Anthony’s Steakhouse. Dos Caminos has an amazing selection of tacos and Mexican dishes. You won’t ever go hungry at Golden Nugget, and the food is good, but it doesn’t have the oomph of certain AC competitors.

7. Hard Rock Casino

Hard Rock’s Kuro (sushi) and Il Mulino New York (Italian) are both fantastic for upscale dining on property. Council Oak Steaks & Seafood will satisfy surf-n-turf lovers as well. Hard Rock also has in-room dining, a buffet, and the famous Hard Rock Cafe for a more casual approach to your meal. Sugar Factory is a sweet-tooth-satiating option, so long as you save room for one of its massive desserts.

6. Resorts Casino Hotel

Resorts Casino Hotel shines in its variety. Eight casual restaurants—Margaritaville, Chicken Guy!, and Bubbakoo’s Burritos, among them—are great quick and less-pricey options. Fine dining is available at five spots in the complex. Our favorites are Mukashi Sushi Bar and Eastwind, the latter of which has excellent Chinese noodle dishes.

5. Tropicana Casino

Tropicana boasts an impressive array of food options, starting with the more casual-leaning Broadway Burger Bar, Chickie’s and Pete’s, and Casa Taco & Tequila Bar. For more upscale eats, try Il Verdi, The Palm, or Carmine’s. Small bites at Chelsea Five won’t break the budget, and Hash House A Go Go has some of the most filling brunch dishes in AC.

4. Caesars Atlantic City

Caesars Atlantic City brings three celebrity chefs to its property. Nobu from Chef Nobu Matsuhisa brings incredible Japanese dishes and flavors to AC, and it won the OpenTable Diner’s Choice award in 2024. Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen won the same award, as did the Italian-American fare at Superfrico. One ca n’t-miss combo is the beef wellington for dinner and sticky toffee pudding for dessert at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill.

3. Ocean Resort Casino

Ocean Resort Casino’s dining portfolio is headlined by Amada from Iron Chef Jose Garces. Additional higher-end food options are Linguini By the Sea and Ocean Steak. All three restaurants have magnificent ocean views and an incredible atmosphere for an elevated meal.

Ocean completes its dining line-up with casual restaurants like Distrito and Harper’s and goes one step further with quick bite stops and in-room dining.

2. Borgata Hotel Casino

Variety makes Borgata an easy pick for a top-three spot on this list. The casino has 15 on-site dining options ranging from quick and inexpensive to highfalutin and pricey (but worth it). One highlight is Angeline from Chef Michael Symon, seen on ABC’s The Chew and as a regular on Iron Chef America. Rounding out Borgata’s dining options are Bread & Butter, Borgata Buffet, Old Homestead Steak House, and more.

1. Harrah’s Atlantic City Casino

Earning the number one spot on our list is Harrah’s Atlantic City. Three celebrity chefs have restaurants at Harrah’s. There’s Gordon Ramsay Steak for a higher-end option, Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay for a classic dish, and Chicken Guy! By Guy Fieri. Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastor also has Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire with cakes, pizza, pasta, and more. Other Harrah’s dining options include La Strada for delicious Italian fare and Coastal Craft Kitchen & Bar for breakfast and brunch.
