Caesars and Greentube are rapidly expanding their footprint in North America after launches in two key online casino states.

The new development is that they are moving north into Ontario. It follows closely on the heels of their April partnership, which saw successful launches in New Jersey and Michigan. These two states are among the leading iGaming markets in the United States, highlighting the duo’s strategic focus on high-revenue regions.

In addition to New Jersey and Michigan, online casinos are legal in Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut and Rhode Island. After Ontario, it will be interesting to see which states Caesars and Greentube target next.

In a Greentube press statement, Director of Global Sales and Key Account Management at Greentube Markus Antl expressed his delight about the sustained collaboration with Caesars. He emphasized that their strong alliance has facilitated this new market entry:

“We are thrilled to extend our already successful partnership with Caesars Digital and launch in another North American region together. Players in Ontario are enjoying our content, and this launch will further propel our foothold in this exciting market.”

Key takeaways

  • Caesars and Greentube have expanded quickly, launching in Ontario after successful entries in New Jersey and Michigan.
  • Greentube plans to capture a larger share of the US online casino market.
  • Caesars plans to launch a new online casino brand later this year.

What should Caesars players expect from Greentube?

Players utilizing Caesars’ online gaming apps in Ontario, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and the newly upgraded Caesars Palace Online Casino app will have full access to Greentube titles that have already been enjoyed by players in the US. These include:

  • Silver Lux: Big Win Spinner (its latest rollout)
  • Diamond Cash
  • Mighty Buffalo
  • Charming Lady’s Bloom
  • Dolphine’s Pearl

Greentube expands in North America

Greentube has been settling well in North America, obtaining a supplier license from Ontario’s gaming regulator in 2023. In the same year, it was also awarded an online casino supplier license by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

This has led them to bring their offerings to local operators within the province.

“We have seen Greentube’s content perform well with our customers in the United States, and we’re excited about the potential for success in Ontario. We’re pleased to take this collaboration to new levels and introduce Greentube’s diverse and proven content to an even wider player base,” Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, vice president of online gaming at Caesars Digital, said.

In addition to New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Greentube has expanded its offerings into several other US jurisdictions, including:

Having established connections with the top iGaming states in the US, it remains unclear which other states it has its eyes on. It remains unknown whether it will expand into new territories or strengthen partnerships in presently operating states.

Future plans for Caesars

Caesars (NASDAQ: CZR) has several exciting innovations in the pipeline, including a new online casino brand set to debut in the second half of this year. This upcoming brand is part of Caesars’ broader strategy to enhance its digital offerings and capture a larger share of the rapidly growing online gaming market.

As the company gears up for this significant launch, it has already demonstrated impressive financial performance. In the first quarter of 2024, Caesars reported an online casino net revenue of $282 million, reflecting a 54% growth compared to the previous year.

Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Sports and Online Gaming, attributed this growth to several key factors. He pointed out that the company’s product interface has become more user-friendly and engaging, which has significantly enhanced the gaming experience for players.

Additionally, providing high-quality game content and improved loyalty marketing initiatives have also played a crucial role.

Hence, Hession highlighted that their iCasino brands are crucial for their expansion strategy and will be their focal point moving forward.
