Caesars Palace is celebrating 10 years with Nobu Hotels. The luxury hotel inside Caesars Palace replaced the Centurion Tower inside the company’s flagship property 10 years ago.

Nobu Hotel is located next to the restaurant of the same name. The hotel allows Nobu a way to extend its world-class service and design.

Caesars Palace Las Vegas was the first location for Nobu

Nobu wasn’t the first and certainly hasn’t been the last hospitality brand embraced by Caesars. The company dips into its well of popular brand names frequently.

Visitors to Las Vegas might have noticed numerous locations for celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay, Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri, Giada, Vanderpump, and more.

These outside names bring different levels of service and customers to the properties. Nobu is one brand that offers hotel and dining options depending on the property for Caesars.

Las Vegas was the first location for the Nobu Hotel. The company now has 40 properties around the world. Caesars also has Nobu Hotel Towers at a few properties around the US.

In a Nobu Hospitality press release, Sean McBurney, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, said:

“At Caesars Palace, we take great pride in our history of ‘firsts,’ and we are thrilled to count the first Nobu Hotel in the world among them. Ten years after first opening, Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace remains one of our most sought-after resort experiences.

Our incredible partnership here with Nobu Hospitality has paved the way for the addition of Nobu Hotels and Restaurants in other Caesars Rewards destinations, including the upcoming Nobu Hotels in Atlantic City and New Orleans.”

The Nobu Hotel inside Caesars Palace does feel like being at a separate property despite being in the middle of the massive and always busy Las Vegas casino. The service, design, and guarded tower entrance give guests a different feeling than staying in any other proprietary hotel tower at Caesars Palace.

Hotel in a hotel is a popular concept in Las Vegas

Nobu isn’t the only hotel in a hotel concept in Las Vegas. There are a handful on the Vegas Strip.

Like Nobu Hotel, they each give guests a feeling of being away from the action. Meanwhile, most are under the same roof and guests can access the casino, spa, restaurants, and other amenities.

Some Las Vegas hotels in a hotel model even have amenities for guests who would rather avoid the main casino floor. This can be a perfect blend for visitors who want access to the “Vegas experience” without being in the middle of the chaos so many love.

Delano at Mandalay Bay

Delano originally opened as “The Hotel” at Mandalay Bay in 2003. This tower was operated by MGM Resorts before the company brought on Morgans Hotel to operate the 43-story all-suite hotel.

The hotel tower is under the same roof as Mandalay Bay, but guests never have to go to the casino if they prefer the tranquility of a more boutique experience. Delano has its entrance, restaurants, bar, spa, and pool.

While the hotel carries the tag of being a luxury property, the large rooms/suites are among the best values in Las Vegas. Guests book rooms at Delano through the MGM Resorts portal and can use the company’s rewards program.

Delano is a few hundred steps from the Mandalay Bay casino floor and the Shoppes at Mandalay Place should visitors want more options.

Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay

Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay was one of the first hotel in a hotel concept to open in Las Vegas. This 424-room hotel opened in 1999.

Unlike Delano, this luxury hotel operates independently of the MGM Resorts system, even though it’s accessible from Mandalay Bay. Visitors have to make reservations through Four Seasons.

Four Seasons Las Vegas is farther away from the casino floor than Delano and it feels that way. The longer walk offers even more separation, though it’s still under the same roof as Mandalay Bay.

This hotel is a stone’s throw away from Bali Hai Golf Course and has meeting rooms, restaurants, a pool, and even a Forbes Five-Star spa.

The Signature at MGM Grand

The Signature at MGM Grand is a condo hotel that is part of the massive complex. While officially part of MGM Grand, The Signature technically carries a different address on Harmon Ave. The towers are built on land once used for the MGM Grand Adventures Theme Park.

This property has three 38-story condo-hotel towers with its entrance. It’s located near the Topgolf flagship location at MGM Grand.

While it can be a separate property, it’s connected to MGM Grand with a moving walkway. Venturing back and forth between The Signature rooms and the MGM Grand casino floor will add thousands of steps to a guest’s daily routine. Consider this a warning as it can be a long walk for those who want to experience the casino and have a separate hotel experience.

Valet parking is free for hotel guests at The Signature. The property has a quick-serve restaurant, coffee shop, lounge, and meeting rooms.

NoMad at Park MGM

The newest hotel in a hotel brand in Las Vegas is NoMad at Park MGM. The New York hotel brand operates the rooms at the top of Park MGM.

NoMad also has a bar and restaurant called The Library that is easily accessible from Park MGM. NoMad also offers guests a separate spa, salon, fitness center, pool, and retail shop.

This hotel is as close to the action at Park MGM as Nobu is at Caesars Palace. However, separate elevators and room designs give the feeling of being in a more luxurious part of ParkMGM.

NoMad Las Vegas might feel like a part of the hotel it’s inside more than any of the other hotel brands with their towers.

Bonus: Vdara at Aria

Technically, Vdara is a separate hotel from Aria. The door-to-door walk from Vdara to Aria is less than 100 steps.

Vdara feels like its own hotel, but since it’s so close to Aria, access to the casino and restaurants cannot be neglected. Its location and off-strip entrance are perfect for MGM Rewards guests looking for a hotel away from the chaos of the Vegas Strip.

It’s also located across the street from MGM Resorts’ newest casino, The Cosmopolitan. Since MGM Resorts purchased The Cosmopolitan, the company extended and enclosed a walkway to connect Vdara to Bellagio with access to The Cosmopolitan.

Vdara has a quick-serve restaurant, coffee shop, lounge, pool, spa, and meeting spaces. Unlike most casinos, Vdara has a traditional lobby lounge and bar. This makes for a great meeting location or a place to relax away from the slot machines.
