US lottery app Jackpocket announced it has officially launched in Nebraska.

With its debut, Nebraska lottery players can use Jackpocket to play several lottery games like Powerball, Mega Millions and Lucky for Life.

Jackpocket expansion continues

In a press release, Jackpocket founder and CEO Peter Sullivan said:

“The Jackpocket team is excited to offer Nebraskans—long-time lottery players and new players alike—an easy and accessible way to play. We’re committed to making the lottery safe, convenient, and fun. With 29 lottery millionaires and counting on Jackpocket, we’re looking forward to meeting our first big winner in the Cornhusker State!”

Additionally, the company said it would gift customers aged 19 and older their first lottery ticket for free on the app. In a statement, the company said: “New players can receive a $2 lottery ticket by entering the code NEBRASKA at checkout on their first order.”

With the addition of Nebraska, Jackpocket, based in New York City, is now available in 16 states. Jackpocket also operates in:

  • Arizona

Jackpocket’s presence in the lottery and online casino market

Jackpocket is also navigating the online casino space. The company received regulatory approval in April for its Jackpocket online casino app in New Jersey.

On March 9, Tony Vartanian, chief growth and revenue officer at Jackpocket, said:

“As we continue to innovate and bring our Jackpocket users new gaming experiences beyond Lottery, we set out to identify a platform partner that could accelerate our 2023 Online Casino launch in New Jersey. Specifically, one that would enable our teams to deliver an exceptional product experience that our users have grown to expect from us.”

In 2021, Jackpocket agreed with Caesars Interactive Entertainment and its retail casino, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, to break into the iGaming market. The news came after the company wrapped up $120 million in financing.

Over the past 15 months, Jackpocket has inked multiple partnerships with professional and collegiate sports teams. Deals include:

  • University of Rutgers Athletics Department
  • New Jersey Devils
  • Dallas Mavericks
  • Minnesota Twins
  • Dallas Stars
  • Texas Rangers
